This vacuum sealer works great and is pretty simple to use. I had to do a quick test run with it first because the instructions aren't super clear (not written by a native English speaker), but they're sufficient. Once you get the hang of it, vacuum sealing is literally as simple as putting your items in bag, lining it up, and pressing two buttons. I even got a little fancy and was able to seal a smaller portion of a bag, seal it, then double up and do it again. I got two separate portions of meat in one bag. The only thing I will do different next time is add a second sealing strip above the first pocket so I can cut it there without worrying about the juices of the meat getting anywhere else. Overall, this is a great vacuum sealer. Simple to use and quick to seal. Highly recommended.

This worked quite well for vacuum sealing food. The included roll of vacuum bags was convenient and the built-in cutter helped cut the bags the exact size you want. However the bags had some black particles on them. Some of them were just on the surface of the bags but there was also a bit that were inside the bags. Considering that these are meant to store food, it made me feel a bit uneasy. However overall, there were only a few of these particles and most of the vacuum sealing bag roll was free from them. The other thing that bothered me a bit was how clearly it was a somewhat cheap product from China with bad grammar on some of the instructions and warnings printed on the device. This doesn't have much of an effect on the actual performance of device so I won't knock off too much for it but I think they could do a little better to make this product seem more professional. This was the first vacuum sealer I've owned so I can't compare it to others personally but it does seem a little better than some of the even cheaper ones available while also having features found in more expensive models. I have found that you really want to leave a bit extra room in the bag so you can more easily put it back into the machine to seal. If you pack it too tightly, it can be a little hard to get closed.

Our previous sous vide Vacuum Sealer was on it's last legs, and I wanted this as replacement. Not only did it turn out to be a replacement, it is also an UPGRADE. Holy moley! This one has so many features that our old one did not have. And the fact that it can hold a roll of bag making material is a great plus. We also use it to vacuum seal items that we are going to put in the freezer. This is much more than I was hoping for. I can very definitely recommend this Vacuum Sealer for freezing and for sous vide cooking.

I bought the device to use with my sous vide. I watched a number of videos on how to use it. I tried to vacuum seal a bag of filet mignon. After the process completed, it was easy to see that some air still remained. I tried again. Same thing. Eventually I just used a ziplock bag. The design of the item needs to be more intuitive. There's some text where to place the bag but that's it. How far in do you put the bag? A little? A lot? I tried both possibilities, then gave up.

I like to use a sealer to seal garden vegetables and then freeze them. Due to it being spring time, I am not able to test it in with fresh vegetables. I tested in using several food items we keep in the fridge like cheese, lunchmeat, celery, carrots, and lettuce. The sealer worked great as long as the food is dry. There are several stickers on the device stating to use with dry items only. It took me a couple minutes to understand the process of this device. I had to place the bag in the device, turn on the power button, select vacuum and hold it down until I'm done with the vacuum feature, then hit the seal button and release. So some buttons need to be held to function and others needed to be pushed and released. The bags that came with it work well. The rolls of bags I've purchased also work without any issue. Overall, it's a good sealer that does what its supposed to do. It keeps foods fresh for a much longer time due to being sealed.

It’s easy to use. As a single person who cooks a lot, it is now easy to portion food for a meal. It pays for itself when you buy items in bulk and/or on sale. Small enough to store easily between uses. Very happy with purchase.

First, my wife and I buy meats and other items in bulk at one of the large warehouse type stores. We've found you can get better quality at good prices. But the problem is, what to do with more than one meal worth of food at a time. So, for years, we've been vacuum sealing our food. It keeps the food from freezer burn and the food lasts a long time. It's also helpful for protecting grains, nuts, pastas, etc. from bugs. Unfortunately, we have to occasionally replace out vacuum sealer because we use it so much. So, I ordered this one to keep on hand as a replacement. Surprisingly, this one has more features than our current more expensive one. It has an attachment for sealing jars and other containers, as well as the normal bag sealing feature, including both wet and dry. It comes with easy-to-follow instructions. If you don't already use a food vacuum sealer, you should try this one. Then you can buy in bulk and the sealer will pay itself off in no time.
