This safe has a big problem. The directions to configure the pinned open the safe give you the wrong information. In the directions it points to a reset button that has to be pressed in order to make the encode a new pin to the safe. However when looking at the front of the safe where the reset button is supposed to be there simply a USB port, Not a button of any kind. When I try to find information online about it the company appears to not make this type of product anymore as there is no trace of it on their website. Short of calling the company which I don't think will do much good, This safe is virtually worthless Because the key has to be in the room or in the house somewhere where it can be found. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I do like the size for the price. It has a shelf so you have two levels which is what I was looking for and space. Easy to set your password and works good so far. I’ve only had it for about a week and a half but so far, so good.

Nice little lock box/ safe. My son was using our larger safe to keep his savings money in and a few other small items but it became sort of a pain for him to have to get us to open it and things when he wanted to put more money in or take any money out. So i decided to get him his own little safe. This is much nicer than just a standard lock box. it opens from the front and has a digital keypad and lock. It is heavier than you would expect, more sturdy than some similar boxes. he was able to hide this in a small spot out of sight and still be able to get to it and open it easily to store his own items. Now he can get to his things any time he wants to and keep them safe. There are back up keys incase the batteries die or the code is forgotten. Doesnt seem like it would be easy to break into either. Some safes have really cheap feeling locks but this feels nice and sturdy and secure. Price is reasonable and the quality is great. I would recommend to others ... show more

This safe is definitely a solid option for keeping certain things away from the kids. You can mount it as well so it cannot be grabbed so easily. It is definitely solid enough to keep the kids out and I love that if the batteries die, you can plug in a power bank via USB-C and power the keypad. This is a cool idea since I have had batteries run out in the past on other safe boxes and had to go try and find the keys. The keypad is easy to use and the unlocking mechanism seems strong enough to withstand some tinkering. Anyone with the tools, knowledge and time can get in though. Definitely will slow them down in any case. This would not stop someone who has the tools to break in and is determined. The steel is not strong enough to block someone trying to cut through it with the right tools, but it would slow someone down who is trying to make a quick grab. I would compare the quality to what you find in some hotels that offer a safe to lock your stuff up in while you are out of the room. I think you get a solid safe for the money and I would say you can store valuables and sensitive documents in there for safe keeping. Definitely recommend using the mounting hardware to ensure the safe is mounted and cannot be picked up and moved. I recommend this product for simple items, some valuables, sensitive documents and materials, and anything you wish to keep out of reach from the kids. ... show more
