These are easy to use. The directions say to dig them into the soil, but I've pressed them down on top. With watering they should do the job.

    • Excellent Fertilizer after One Application on Bonsai growing in Zone 6
Typically use Bio Gold but tried this fertilizer in Zone 6, per directions. No burn and seeing good growth. Early spring fertilizer feeding, delayed due to weather. 2nd application yesterday. Growing most trees in APL bonsai mix. -Trident Maples - Excellent. Growing strong. Shoots are running tall with normal internodes -Kishu - Roots look great. Growth is steady. -Silverberry, Pomegranate 6" nursery pots - Very healthy roots and good growth. -Japanese Black Pine kifu sized organic soil (a test tree). - Excellent. Buds popping and candles looked great. (50% application) Needles are staying short. I'll continue to use Bio Gold on my Pines the rest of the growing season, but this fertilizers was effective with no burn or issues on any of my trees. Impressed. A good value and easy way to feed many of my development trees. ... show more
