Oh my goodness, this is the best solution to removing the wood flats that came with my bed frame. It was super easy to build, my teenager actually pissed me off before building so I just kicked her out to go downstairs and said I would build myself and I did within an hour🙄. So initially I bought a shorter metal frame acting as a base or boxspring-so to speak, to go on the inside, acting as a base or boxspring, so to speak to go on the inside of the frame and underneath my memory foam mattress.. I did this not even thinking about the fact that my actual bed frame had feet lol! Keep in mind I also bought a queen frame knowing I have a king bed, because of the slat holes from the wood I didn’t know if the king frame would fit once built sitting inside of the bed frame. And either way, I figured I can just give the metal queen frame to my daughter if I upgrade to a king metal frame, because she has a queen bed… (🤦🏽♀️ not of course, knowing I would be buying her a whole new bed within this timeframe). Plus King and queen are the same length Queen is just 8 inches less on both sides. So when I took the wooden slats out and replaced it with the metal frame, my mattress sunk down into the bed frame. So I was quickly over that and dealt with it for about 2 1/2 months maybe 3. Then I bought this because I didn’t originally see a metal interior Frame that was taller than 10 inches so what I saw was the tallest available. So that was my problem. I did the measurements yes, and I knew 10 inches would be good lol but that was if it was sitting on a minimum of 4 inches of feet like the outer frame is-which I totally spaced out on. So when I finally saw they were frames 16 and 18 inches tall I was like oh my gosh I’m gonna have to buy another one. The metal is so much stronger and is exactly what I knew would be a solution. I just didn’t know they existed this tall. Now I do not have any popping or splintering wood issues and it is soooo sturdy. My bed is lifted higher but absolutely not high!! Now I am a weekly Amazon shopper and let me tell you this is about the happiest purchase I think I have ever made with them. It makes all the difference in my bed because my mattress is extremely expensive and it did not feel like it until it was sitting on this frame!!!

Worked perfectly for my purposes. My double bed broke but I wanted to keep the look of the headboard and footboard. I put this in over the partially broken slats and was the perfect solution. Easy set up, measurements were accurate, and it is a stable, sturdy frame.

This frame was ALMOST great but a few of the sticks are too short and periodically fallout when I get on or off the bed. Also one of the two middle bars are misaligned so I can't even screw it in place. Get what you pay for I guess

I recommend this bed frame. Sturdy and solid. The only slight negative side is one of the hole for screw is a bit narrow so I improvised with a bit thinner screw with bolt and it works fine, other than that I like it.
