I have a lot of headphones, ranging from some Chinese lofi, to upper end Unique Melody Mest Indigo, and have listened to other multi kilobuck headphones and IEMs. I don't know if my expectations were too high, but for this price, you can get some decent mid-fi IEMs. these are more focused around performance/activity instead of hifi sound. all of this considered, they do sound pretty good and I can imagine that they are the best option for what they are designed to do. I have had other bone conducting headphones and they do not sound as good as these, so that is why I only took away one star. just want to set expectations for people that might be expecting the sound isolation and details of actual in ear headphones, like the AirPods Pro 3, but not have quite the detail and bass of actual phones with drivers. my wife also said she could hear the music I was listening to at moderate volume; it seems like I cant hear them when they dont have a medium to vibrate. overall, good build, ok sound. they seem to be a little too wide of a loop that they dont hug the back of my head, I wish that was adjustable. wish they were USB-C, I dont like proprietary chargers, but I can understand why they would go with a sealed design to make them more waterproof. ... show more

These bone conduction headphones looked overpriced to start with. They’re also unattractive relative to competing products and the quality control is abysmal. The headphones I received appear to be bone conduction headphones, as there are no openings for speakers etc. However, they arrived without any charge, so they wouldn’t turn on. I tried to charge them, but the included charging cable doesn’t match the charging connector on the headphones (see photos), so there’s no way to charge them. Even if everything worked as advertised, similar products from more reliable brands cost less than half as much and look better, so the value for money would be poor. As it is, the value for money is nonexistent. Overall, given the abysmal quality control, unattractive design and excessively high price, I strongly suggest avoiding this product. ... show more

I am not an audiophile by any means so to me these sound perfectly fine, which to me is the main issue I have with these headphones, for the price you are paying I cant tell a big difference between these and my cheaper bone conduction head phones. The essonio bone conduction headphones are not exactly bone conduction headphones at all - more like, open-ear headphones. Everyone around can hear exactly what you are listening to so there’s no privacy when using these. The sound quality is not good…these are simply very loud! Even on the lowest volume setting it’s way too much and no matter how I positioned these headphones they play entirely too loud for enjoyment. These are not comfortable. They press painfully against my side temples. The battery life is abysmal. Charged 100% and only lasted about 4 hours. And I hate the proprietary charger - the magnetic connectors are not strong so the charger barely stays connected and will disconnect when repositioned which happens a lot because the charger cord is very short. I also believe these are way overpriced. I recommend purchasing better, actual bone-conduction headphones. Unfortunately, these are not it. ... show more

    • Comfortable and Expensive Headphones
I've owned quite a few bon conduction headphones and these are around the same quality as the other ones I've tried. So I feel these are a little expensive for what you're getting. If you've used bone conduction headphones, then you know the sound quality to expect which is not a lot of bass and a little flat. I'm used to this to so I don't mind it, I think its a good trade off to not have anything in your ears. The headphones were comfortable and the call quality was fine. For swimming you have to use the mp3 mode as the bluetooth signal can't penetrate the water. The sound quality under water is based on the type of music you're listening to. I would stay away from any bass heavy songs as it feels like someone is hammering your head. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These bone conduction headphones paired quickly to my Pixel phone and the magnetic charging cable was easy to use. The sound is loud and clear without projecting the sound to anyone nearby. I like the open ear design since it makes it really fast to put on my head and start using.
