I tried this for the first time last night and I was impressed how easy it was to remove my sunless tanner and bronzer. My sunless tanner had been on for approximately 5 days and I use a bronzer on top of that. The directions were simple for the tan eraser. I left it on for 8 minutes and then showered it off using exfoliating gloves. I used very light pressure and to my surprise my sunless tanner was removed. This works wonders for removing a spray tan. Don’t want to be without this. I apply it to dry skin, wait a few mins, then buff it off in the shower. It removes self tanner so well. No scent that I can smell.

This worked well in conjunction of soaking in a tub and using a really great exfoliating glove. It’s hard to speak to what did the heavy lifting since I used a multi approach but this seemed to lift some of my old tan just soaking with this on my body in the bath before exfoliating. I can’t speak to doing this outside of a bath but it seemed to be helpful. It smells like hair dye though! My eyes were burning while I was rubbing it in and I think it gave me a bit of a rash but I have sensitive and dry skin so it’s possible it’s case by case. ... show more

I expected this to take my self tan right off. I still had to scrub my skin super hard and it didn’t take all the tan off. It also has a strong odor. I tried letting it sit for a while to see if it would work better and it didn’t make a difference. It’s like a soap so it’s sticky to sit in.

Worked perfectly! I had a fresh tan that was way too dark on my face; I exfoliated and washed my face three times over the course of the day then applied this the next morning. I left it on for 20 min and scrubbed it off and the color came off completely!

Okay I have a LOT of thoughts about this product. First off yes it does stink.. almost smells like hair dye to me which makes you wonder what kind of chemicals you are rubbing all over your body. However, after a min or two the smell is gone so that’s not even my complaint. It just flat out does not work. Starting with the application the pump DOES NOT WORK. Horribleeeee design flaw. It comes out as a straight liquid and gets everywhere I had to hold it over a towel and keep trying to pump some liquid out. Who tests this stuff??? I had a bad self tanning experience with a new product I’m not familiar with and waited a few days to try this. The tan truly looks worse than it did before bc it didn’t remove it all so now I look even MORE splotchy. Even the areas where the self Tanner looked “decent” now looks SO BAD. I’m going to have to continue to re-apply this product 5 or so more times until all the self Tanner is off as well as scrubbing the absolute hell out of my skin! Truly not worth any penny spent. I’ll also note after rinsing off my skin feels very itchy— prob from whatever strong chemicals are in this stuff. I guess if you’re super desperate give this a shot but I’ll definitely be looking for something much more practical! ... show more

I just used this, it works great. The tops of my toes had uneven self tanner and looked bad so I put this tan eraser on top of my toes and let it sit for 3 minutes. I gently rubbed with a makeup remover wipe and the tan came right off. I rinsed with water. The smell did not bother me, it wasn’t a strong smell. ... show more
