The baby monitor works great. You can check the video feed from the app that you download on your phone to use with it. It also has an intercom mode you can press from the phone app to speak to your baby, it has original sounds, clown, and uncle! Which I find to be hilarious. The different voices caught my baby off guard but didn’t make him cry, other kiddos may respond differently to the uncle and clown voice. Being able to speak to him was helpful. The connectivity was good. The picture is good. You can also zoom in and out. The head of the camera rotates completely around front side to side and you can move the head up and down. Great video quality, and the camera is very convenient to use.It also has the ability to add an SD card and record however I have never had to use that function. Amazing camera for the price. You will not be disappointed.

    • Constant alerts when nothing is happening!
I get alerts 24/7 when no one is home or in the room with the camera. I have the alerts on the lowest detection settings and it’s still saying there is motion in the room when nothing is moving. Also i mostly wanted this camera to alert me at night if my puppy is barking because I can’t hear her from my room, but there is no ability to set an alarm outside of a normal push notification. A push notification isn’t going to wake me up at night, so I have to remember to make sure my phone isn’t on silent and iPhone notifications are turned all the way up so I’ll hear it while sleeping. But as it alerts me every 10 seconds when nothing is happening, I’ve had to turn these off at night which defeats the purpose of this camera. I’ll be returning and going with a camera that includes a monitor! ... show more

    • Returned after one night, might work for some but not us
Returned after one night. The problems for us were 1) the app had to be running in order for us to hear if our baby was crying. A simple phone alert was not going to wake us up. 2) if we went away from the app even for a second to use our phone, upon reopening the app we were logged out. So basically when baby was asleep our phone could only be used as a monitor. I don’t know, maybe all the monitor apps are like that, but I am going back to a typical monitor display. Plus if the wifi goes down (which it does a lot in my area) it’s not going to be reliable. ... show more

I am surprised that my two full size beds can be viewed in the camera in the normal size bedroom. So that I don’t need to worry my kid could be rolling around and getting off camera. It’s easy to install and the quality is pretty good.
