These do well securing the wheel for transport on a bike carrier, but they started fraying after only a few uses. Plus the warning that came with it to not use it in the heat or direct sunlight (due to the gel/non-slipping feature) is concerning. While I don’t plan to leave this out in the sun, the very nature of transporting a bike on a car means the strap will be in the direct sunlight and I had planned to use this strap in the summer. ... show more
