This chair is great for really tall people and especially for people who have standing desks who like to switch between standing and sitting. It's made of sturdy materials which feels stable when you sit on them. It's also very comfortable to sit in even for prolonged periods of time.

My husband has had this chair just over 6 months, and it is excellent. Sturdy, attractive, and very comfortable. He sits at an elevated desk working on his computer for hours at a time very often and it has really helped his back compared to his old chair. He’s just below 6’ in height and weighs 215, and this chair could clearly easily carry a lot more weight so the capacity claims are not exaggerated in our opinion.     • A little disappointed.

So I've had the chair for a couple weeks now and found a couple issues that folks should be aware of. Its a nice looking and comfortable chair otherwise. The foot ring on my chair fails to stay tight and becomes loose and wobbly. I have to tighten it every day. Its a little less of a pain if you push the foot ring all the way down to the base, but still loosens up from normal use. Secondly the gas cylinder used to set the height of the chair is very squishy. When I sit in the chair it sinks 3-4 inches and pops right back up when I standup, which is not something I have seen in other chairs. Its always been solid when sitting. I'm 220lbs, nowhere near the stated 400lbs in the listing. There is also a noticeable amount fluid on the cylinder shaft that I don't recall seeing on any of my previous chairs. The chair also randomly drops a short distance when moving. Not sure if this from the squishiness that I described above or if its dropping further from when I initially sat down. Needless to say I feel like I will be having to replace the cylinder way before I should typically have too. ... show more

I've had this chair for a few weeks now. It hasn't flattened and is very comfortable. The only gripe is that you can't lower the headrest (others have complained also). I'm 5'8", so tilting it down gives me some support. In the description, it doesn't mention that it has the ability to recline/tilt back, which is great! This does have a deep waterfall so your bum will sit lower than your knees. This is a comfortable position for me, but it may be too intense for others. ... show more
