I adopted a dog with anxiety. Cheaper kennels were not safe for him as he would trysp hard to escape he would hurt himself. This is spacious, no sharp edges, solid, easy to put together in 30 minutes. He voluntarily goes inside during non-use times and his little pup 'siblings' climb in too! Worth every penny.

Pros: Elegant - Sturdier than Wire Cage - having Wheels make moving it easy (be sure to choose the wheels with locks option) - the pan is below the actual Kennel flooring, and I find that a huge relief in case there water bowl gets dumped - my option has the 2nd gate on top, so we can give something to the pup without being concerned with him barging through our legs; or we can easily remove or add a blanket. - The floor grate is pretty sturdy, and doesn't sag with weight on it. Which means that their toes won't get caught or pinched between the wire spacing of the floor structure, when moving around. With the floor panel raised off of the Catch-Pan, the bed mat he has will not become 'stuffy' from not getting air underneath it. - This Kennel has 2 equally divided Center Cross-Bars, which adds more security & less chance of a dog busting or pulling through. Whereas the other Makes only had a Single Bar. Finally, the Cost. This make and model was priced very reasonable… especially when considering that the Wired ones were only $50-$75 less! Cons: I can't think of one flaw. But I do plan on placing a Washer in front of each Nut, so that I can crank those bolts down really good without worrying about the nut getting sucked into the frame as it gets tighter - as will happen with every grade this thin accept maybe Stainless. On an end note, I would recommend this Kennel for any dog under 90#. And I put that limitation on it because I just don't know how well the floor would hold up over time, and I'm trying to be objective for you that have those XLs out there. Because I want people to be able to Trust my reviews!

Size Purchased: 48/42/38-inch Dog: 75-lb, 1-year-old Husky (escape artist) This crate is legitimately heavy duty. The shipping box alone weighed 84 lbs, so it’s not an exaggeration. If you have a strong, determined dog (especially a Husky), this is not comparable to a standard wire crate. I bought this because my previous Husky escaped cheaper wire crates constantly. Our new rescue Husky is a year old and very high-energy, and I knew a wire crate wouldn’t last. This crate has thick bars, solid construction, and is truly escape proof. He has plenty of room to stand and move around comfortably. Assembly: Very easy. You raise the walls, secure them with 4 bolts, and add 2 screws for the top. Took only a few minutes. The top opens, which is a great feature. Cleaning: Removable metal mesh floor with a removable plastic tray underneath — easy to clean. Mobility: Comes with wheels. Issue & Customer Service: One wheel was stuck out of the box and caused black marks on my light-colored carpet. I contacted Boldbone and they responded quickly and sent a replacement wheel with no hassle. Excellent customer service. Bottom line: If you need a crate that is durable, secure, and actually escape proof, this is a great choice. It’s especially well-suited for strong or anxious dogs. Boldbone stands behind their product, which matters at this price point. Highly recommended.

I bought the 48 inch wire with divider kennel for my two beagles. It was easy to put together and very durable. It looks so much nicer than those typical wire kennels you get from tractor supply. I love that you can have it on wheels or on the floor. Having it on wheels makes it easier to clean around. It’s nice that they do not have access to chew on the black tray. So far the latches have held up nicely. I find this kennel to be much safer than others I’ve had. I would suggest putting a bed or some type of mat down so your dogs paws don’t get caught in the grate if they are little. I definitely think this kennel is worth the money. I’ve attached a picture to show the size of my dogs. The beagle on the left is a standard size beagle. The one on the right is nearly half the size of a standard beagle. They both fit comfortably.

The shipping was well, packaged well, easy to put together in less than 45min, self explanatory instructions, all parts are intact and present, and overall is exactly how it's shown. The structure is very strong and a great size for my doggo. He can stretch, move, stand up when the top is open, fits well in most spaces, and the wheels are a great addition if needed (I did not need them currently). Really nothing to say about it in a "bad way". (I'm only giving 4 stars for now and will return in a month to change it or not.)

WOW... Why have I been wasting my money on other flimsy folding cages for LITERALLY YEARS... We've had every kind of DOG you can imagine from Jack Russells to Great Danes and if you know anything about Jack Russells, I'm sure you know their ability to escape any cage at any cost! This cage should be the industry STANDARD when it comes to dog cages. I purchased the [54/48/38 inch Heavy Duty], (the biggest one available) and it came exceptionally fast (3 days early) and wasn't very difficult to put together. One of the plastic pans I received had a small little crack/split in the corner (about 1/2 inch), but I don't think that is going to ever get worse or pose a problem so it's not that big of a deal for me. My only gripe is that they didn't label which piece is which, and 3 pieces are almost identical. The instructions are fairly vague and being the "I don't need instructions" kind of man, looking at the very simple instructions, I kind of winged it and found out the hard way that there is a WRONG way to put this thing together. My only suggestion would be for the manufacturer to place a sticker on the "Right Front of Front Panel" piece or pointed out in the instructions how to distinguish that piece specifically. The image on the instructions shows the leftmost bottom frame (of the Right Front of Front Panel) being slightly thinner, however, it is extremely unlikely that an average consumer would notice the minor detail. Both of the "Rear Panel's" look almost identical to the Right Front of Front Panel. You'll know you did it right if the plastic pans slide right into the slot under the cage from the front of the cage as the instructions show! Took me a few minutes to realize why the pan on the right side of the cage wouldn't go in from the front, I wedged it under from the side and then started my investigation as to why it doesn't slide in from the front, as Step 8's image shows LMFAO! Overall it isn't rocket science folks, it's a bolt here and a nut there and BAM you got yourself a great-quality cage. I threw it together in maybe 30 - 45 minutes (I would highly recommend having some assistance, as it is a HUGE cage, and it doesn't really stand up by itself while you move around from the front to the back to the side to and then to the other side to connect all the bolts. The quality is unprecedented and I am extremely happy with this purchase, so much so, I took the time to write this review. I am unsure why they would put two doors that open from the top being that it is such a HUGE cage, it's not likely you're going to put your animal in from the top and drop them three feet down to the bottom. One side note, you can thank me later... Go to Wal-Mart or Lowes or somewhere and get yourself a package of those tiny little rubber bumpers, or felt feet (the kind that you use on chairs for hardwood floors). The cage doors (front and both top doors) rattle when the animals move, even while the wheels are locked. The first night, my Great Dane was extremely active and kept getting up and repositioning herself and that cage rattled so much and so loud, it was extremely frustrating and obnoxious. Other than that, I love this cage and will purchase another one from this company/manufacturer, if I ever need another cage. I would also recommend finding a dog bed or some sort of padding for the interior, as the bottom is metal, and I'm sure is extremely uncomfortable if the dogs had to lay on it without some sort of cushioning. I wish the company would make or sell custom-fit padding/dog beds that fit the inside dimensions for their great quality cage, they could make or sell them as a bundle and it would save the consumer the hassle of trying to find something that fits perfectly. Thankfully, we had a large washable dog bed that was sitting on the floor and fit almost perfectly. There's about 2 inches on every side of the inside of the cage that isn't covered by the bed, so we threw a few blankets on top of the bed for the 3 dogs that we put in the cage. They all have plenty of room to sprawl out and move around.
