  • Solid tripod for rifle or crossbow
Style: FieldPod Max
A solid tripod for rifle or crossbow. A bit heavy to pack in so you'd want to set it up in a permanent ground blind. Easy to adjust the height and angle. Can recommend.

  • best pod for kids and adults alike
Style: FieldPod Max
Had this now for two separate hunts with my boys. I have two young men 7 y/o and also 12 y/o. I bought this to help them be more accurate. No more “left dad...no, I mean right, up, down, there! Don’t move it “ aww dang it it moved...we’ve all been there as dads trying to steady our children’s rifles to make a clean kill. I used the word clean for two meanings w this review. Initially, when I started hunting w my boys, I found I would sacrifice knockdown power for less recoil- in a lightweight platform (ie 223 or 220 swift) this honestly created a two edged sword. One side-shot placement is extremely important and then the other distance is important because I’m technically holding the weight of the gun. I’ll be honest, you can’t do both. My oldest boy shot a doe w 223 closer to the shoulder than I’d have liked at about 90 yards and we couldn’t find her. Not even after two days. That’s when I purchased this little gem! Solved all my problems with rifle stability and also knockdown power. I purchased a 6.5 creedmoor and put a muzzle break on it and combined w this they can shoot sub MOA groups at 200 yards- Better than their old man, this pod is steady, user friendly and helps the shooter make a cleaner kill. This helps w shot placement as well as allowing kids-and some adults- shoot a bigger caliber that allows for better/stronger ballistic data. Sorry long review-and I never review anything! Buy it. You won’t regret it. ... show more

  • All for my husband
Style: FieldPod Max
I bought this for my husband who’s handicapped. He lost use of his left arm about six months ago and he was an avid hunter. He got real down and depressed because he couldn’t hold up his rifle anymore . so I bought him this for Christmas and I gave it to him early. He still gets upset because he can’t hold his rifle because he has a right hand shooter, but this did help him a lot. I’m still trying to find a good hunting blind to accommodate his needs as well. He will soon be 65 and he’s a veteran, losing one of his arms was devastating for him. But I’m glad that this comes in multiple heights and it swivels and goes up and down, which does make this quite easier for him. ... show more

  • Very good unit
Style: FieldPod Magnum
Very sturdy unit but on the heavy side as far as overall weight. Once you have this unit set-up you are a bit reluctant to move it because of the weight. Legs do not have a lock down screws to prevent legs from spreading when on hard or concrete surfaces. Spike tips on end of legs slide around on hard surfaces. On the other hand, when out in the field the legs stay put due to the heavy-duty spikes on the end of the legs. Would recommend for field use, not so much for indoor range use. ... show more

  • Must have item
Style: TreePod
A must have for gun or crossbow hunting. Weapon is in position at all times, and you have a steady rest. Also allows you to use a free hand to range game much easier. Accurate, ethical, lethal shots…what’s not to like?

  • Great product!
Style: FieldPod Max
Although they sent me the wrong size I managed to make it work with my crossbow. I left it in my ground blind all year from last hunting season to this one and the thing still works like a champ. Great product but I would still like the size I ordered which is the taller one.

  • Great for the price point
Style: FieldPod
I bought one of these last year so my daughters could use a crossbow to hunt since their draw weight was too low for a regular bow. We used it only a few times last year but it was great for the price point. Yes, it could have been smoother to move in to position, but it wasn't too bad and didn't make huge noise. It was sturdy last year and just as sturdy this year since we are kind of sharing the cross bow between the 3 of us this year. My hunting bow is currently out of commission so this is seeing a lot more use. I don't really care for the strap as it seems just cheaply made, and I don't like the way it attaches but it gets the job done. I might replace it with a nicer single point sling this year. Over all it holds my crossbow well and I am pretty happy with its purchase ... show more
