"Natural" does NOT mean "not poisonous." Arsenic, cyanide, and poisonous mushrooms are all "natural" products that can kill you. Likewise, three of the "natural" ingredients in this product are poisonous to dogs. This product smells like a mild perfume and keeps my dog from chewing things, but the bitter flavor wears off after awhile. This is where it gets dangerous, because if you spray something, and the dog ends up eating it later, they can get sick. When our dog started having diarrhea every couple of hours (over night also, BTW), I started researching the ingredients in this product since we had just started using it. I found out that the Peppermint oil, Tea Tree Oil, and Clove Oil in this product are all poisonous to dogs. I stopped using it immediately and the diarrhea stopped. So I used it to two of my dogs. 1 has allergy. she itch alot so we spray her paw whenever she licks and she stops. we don't know if it's ease her, because of the hot spot thing on the spray, or she knows we don't like that behavior? or the smells that she doesn't like from this spray? but either way she stops :D whatever it is, it's works :D we also use it to the other dog when my husband accidentally cut the nail to deep and after we put bandage on he keep biting on it, we spray the bandage, and he stop too. again, we don't know if either because the smells, or the behavior we caught in the act that they know we don't like they know of, but either way, we it works!! ... show more

I was skeptical, but based upon reviews and also seeing that it was all natural and plant based, I purchased this. I used it on plastic solar mole deterrent spikes in my yard, which are right up my dogs' alley as they love to chew anything plastic. For the first use, I doused them heavily (4 total). The dogs sniffed the area but didn't go near them. Then one day when my large lab showed up at the back door with one in his mouth, I realized that it had rained and I needed to re-apply. I knew that would actually be a true test of the product. I faithfully re-sprayed after any rain, and they completely left them alone! Anxious to order more (I used it all!) and try it on solar lights, which I haven't been able to put in the yard due to the chewing issue (wires and all!). But having to re-apply might get tiresome. I could see the huge benefits of using this on indoor objects. ... show more

I have now a 7month old puppy and he off and on decides to pull large clumps of grass from various areas in my condo community. I don't want him to for many reasons and am not winning the war... I am pretty keen now to when he's going to go for it and will spray spots while or before he's doing it and it works! I actually tasted it and it's bitter and lingers for a few but Not overbearing. Not exactly what description says to use for so wanted others to know this technique I've tried is working:-) Of course don't spray to close to their eyes and I don't use as a go to for any ol thing or a punishment and am hoping to not at all eventually... After several weeks of trying to get our GSD to stop licking a boo boo....and making it worse... I tried Bodhi Dog and it worked immediately. The scent is quite nice for humans but the dog looked at me like "What IS that smell!?" The great thing about this product is that it keeps him from obsessively licking AND it heals the wound.
