bought this for electrical work in vernal. works really well. the size was a little big for the size i ordered, which is nice because i dont like it perfectly fit, i like it a little baggy. its really durable, with my time with it ive yet to notice any holes or unusual wear. its pretty average on thickness, and is very comfortable to wear. it doesnt shrink when washed, which is nice. it was fairly cheap, and i can confirm it is indeed fire retardent. it looks good too. overall, i really enjoyed this product, will be buying again in a different color ... show more

Good tig welding hoodie. I do a lot of confined space work, usually tig and grinding, Sometimes pulse. I got this because i wanted something light that covers everything. It does a good job of keeping dust and sparks off. It handles surprisingly well when getting showered by hot metal bbs, although I would recommend a heavier jacket if MiG or stick welding. One thing I was concerned with was rips and tears. Most of my clothes often get torn or ripped on sharp edges while crawling through units. This not going to replace your leathers but this shirt can take weld splatter from 045 dual shield. It left black spots and actually felt less painful than it would in any other hoodie but it didn't burn any holes or catch on fire! I like the no front pocket design because those are just tinder boxes waiting to happen. The hood and neck opening are nice and big but could use a draw string. The fit is really good and covers my belly when welding overhead. I'm 6'2", 240lbs, long arms huge shoulders chest and back, and slim. I think I bought the xl. Light weight so it'll be good in the summer and seems to be decent quality. If your setting your clothes on fire then this will be good value for your money. ... show more

Best light weight hoodie ever in opinion i am 6'1" and athletic build at 175lbs with flat stomach and long arms and this awesome hoodie fits me perfectly ever after the wash does not shrink or at least for me but i have always had a hard time finding clothes that fit cause basically i am a med on my chest but a large for my arms and this fits perfectly! Love it! But beware of the button up welding shirts they are oversized way to much literally i had to get my grandmother to stich them up in the back so i didnt look like i was 300lbs!
