I had a few bulbs to replace throughout my house which were being neglected because I didn’t want to risk life and limb on a wobbly stool to take care of them. This three step ladder is easy to use and put away. However, it is not very sturdy. It almost sits on evenly, as if one of the legs is a different size than the other three. Definitely not some thing I would use for a hard to reach project, but will use for quick fixes.

This review is for: BOCOM 2 Step Ladder, Lightweight Portable Foldable Collapsible Folding Sturdy Steel Metal Step Stool This step ladder is actually very easy to take out of the box because there are no tools required to put it together. The folded step ladder unfolds with a little bit of elbow grease because it is a little bit on the tight side. However, after you have unfolded it I actually caught my finger partially between the rung and the frame. So be careful when opening and closing/ folding. I used that to replace the batteries on some of the cameras, and this came in very handy. However, I will say that I felt a little unstable after stepping on it without making full contact because it doesn’t click or lock in at unfolded position. So just be paying full attention how you step. Otherwise, this feels very sturdy and thick material on the frame. ... show more

I am really happy I got this. Sometimes when something says "rated for x pounds", it may not feel steady even if you're not close to that number. This is rock solid. It's easy to open, easy to fold back up, and can be tucked away easily once it's folded. I didn't feel like my feet were going to slip on the steps, either. My one issue is that there's a couple of small spots where the coating either didn't adhere to the metal underneath or got rubbed/scratched off. Aesthetically, it's no big deal because it's a tool, but I don't want the metal to possibly rust. I'll likely just get some kind of tough clear coat and hit those spots with it. Other than that? I am very pleased to have this and to be able to get rid of my old stepstool that I thought was gonna drop me on the floor. ... show more

This is a nice Stepladder, and it has many uses around the house. I like that the stepladder folds closed, making it easier to store when not in use. I keep mine in a space between the wall and my refrigerator, it is out sight, but easy to pull out and put into use. I will use this stepladder most to change out lightbulbs and replace batteries in ceiling mounted light fixtures and smoke alarms. My stepladder had plastic feet that were not properly aligned by the factory. I used a large wrench to properly align the plastic feet. I like that the stepladder is sturdy, easy to open, locks into place, and that it has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. I really like this stepladder and I recommend it for you. ... show more
