Though slightly deeper & heavier than most body cams I've used, this camera offers multiple features that are useful in a wide range of settings. Included with the camera are a shoulder-clip mount, a short clip (works for pockets, etc), a USB charger and cable, and the manual. The longer shoulder-clip is the most comfortable but requires a shirt or jacket that has those shoulder straps/loop. The shorter clip works to hold it to a pocket or strip, but the bulkiness of the camera makes this awkward without some sort of reinforcement in the pocket to keep the pocket from bending outward. Both clips, when attached, will cover a little bit of the viewing screen (on the back of the camera), but do not obstruct the recording camera in any way. The camera accepts Micro-SD cards, inserted in an unprotected slot at the bottom of the camera. It does not include a card, so you will have to supply one yourself. The camera features "Night Vision" recording, Audio-Only recording, and several video resolutions. There is a "car mode" that allows it to be used as a dash cam, starting up when the vehicle is started (and power delivered to the vehicle CLA). There is an adjustable loop-record function (common on dashcams) that cycles through the length of the memory card in set time segments, moving back to the beginning and erasing unmarked/unlocked video clips to record the new ones. The camera has easy access buttons to lock important clips as they are recorded, can be set to pre-record 10 seconds before you remember to hit "record", and has various battery save and inconspicuous recording features that allow you to set a screen time off limit or disable record indicator LEDs. One novelty feature of the phone is a button that triggers an alternating pattern of red/blue LEDs, resembling police vehicle lights. The manual says this is accompanied by a siren, but even with the volume up my camera was silent. This light serves no purpose for law enforcement, but does allow the recorded video to look "policey" for TikTok or something. There are several multi-function (depending on how you tap or long press them) buttons on the outer edges of the camera: 3 down each side and five across the back (under the viewer screen). Some of these (those under the screen) are user-intuitive and easy to understand. The others require either trial and error or a few reads of the user manual (which labels each function correctly, for the most part). The onscreen menu, however, is great - it is easy to understand and easy to access with the back buttons. When recording video, you have the option to include a date/time stamp, as well as an assignable Camera Number and Officer ID (which can accept alpha-numeric characters). Though bulkier than expected (it's about 1.5" deep and I expected around 0.25"-0.5"), the image/video quality and internal features of this camera make it one of the best body cams I've used. PROS: The camera has a lot of useful features, a long battery life, is rechargeable, and the accessories make it easily wearable. CONS: The camera is bulky, not water proof, doesn't have a rubber cover over the micro-SD Card slot, and it lacks a privacy option for audio (like bluetooth or a headphone jack). WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR? This is a great option for a less-rugged GoPro. It could be used for policing, though it's lack of easily navigable/intuitive outer controls (a clear and unmistakeable "record" button, etc), bulky and protruding design, and lack of waterproofing would increase the likelihood of loss, destruction, or malfunction in most scenarios. It may be a great gadget for an indoor security guard, "mall cop", office security/screeners, hikers and backpackers (as long as little dust or moisture), kids filming TikToks at school, or Karens on the prowl. This is a cool camera - if you need something you can use indoors or in good weather, this is a great buy and highly recommended! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Right off the bat I want to say this is my new EDC.Compared to my old one this thing is light years ahead. I also don't have any too many negatives about it because the majority of it is very good. As you can see from the videos and pictures that this thing has a screen right on the back and you can view pretty much exactly what you're looking at so that is one of the best biggest pluses of it. Also as you can see from the front there's tons of IR lights so the night vision is actually really really good on this also. This thing will continue to record continuously and keep overlapping itself and I have not had any issues with the SD card or with the camera and self recording would sometimes it shuts off or blah blah blah with random different cams that you get. This one hasn't had any issues with any of that. Also the battery life is one of the biggest pluses. I can get through an 8-hour day no problemo and just about a 10 hour day before it completely dies. Like all lithium batteries I do try to keep it charged up as much as possible but with it being something you turn on and just run until it's empty it's kind of hard to do with this one. I like how this one came with two different clips on the back also one that fits on my belt which is the small one and the other bigger longer one fits on my duty belt perfect so I just pretty much keep it there and switch it out as I need. The only negative that I have about this one is that it is not discreet at all. My old one that I used to have was really skinny and did not have a screen on it but you almost couldn't even tell what it was because it almost looked like a pen almost but not quite as like a big giant square almost like a kit Kat. That's about the only negative that I've had about this one. This thing arrived on time and while packaged and everything was in the box. As you can see how I beat up this thing is and the pictures you can tell that I've been putting it through it's paces and it's definitely a workhorse. 100% highly recommend ... show more

Battery life is not long enough for a full 12 hour shift but will go 8 hours in daytime use. The image quality is good but in day or night it does get a little washed out with lights in dark settings. Audio is kind of rough (heavy reverb or feedback) up close (under 5’) but at a distance of 10 to 25‘ it’s ok. Works well as a dash cam but could use a suction cup windshield mount or the option to buy one for use as a dash camera.
