An effective and useful percussion massager that makes self-massage much easier. I use various massage tools on a regular basis to help relieve muscle aches and soreness, but I wanted something that would allow me to comfortably massage my own upper back and trapezius muscles. I have owned Bob and Brad massage products in the past and have always found them to be well made and effective, so I decided to give this long-handled percussion massager a try. It has been exactly what I was looking for. The biggest advantage is the detachable long-reach handle. It allows me to reach muscles that are difficult to get to with a traditional massage gun, and the snap-lock connection holds securely during use. I also like that the massager can be used with or without the extension handle, making it versatile for treating different muscle groups. Despite the added reach, the massager remains lightweight and comfortable to use. The handle offers several secure grip positions, making it easy to control whether I'm working on my shoulders, back, arms, or legs. It also runs surprisingly quiet while still delivering plenty of percussion power through its five speed settings. The included massage heads cover a variety of applications, and I appreciated the massage routines and attachment recommendations in the owner's manual. Those suggestions are helpful for anyone who is new to percussion massagers. Other nice features include USB-C charging, long battery life, and a storage bag that keeps everything organized and easy to transport. The only minor negative for me is the automatic 15-minute shutoff. I often use a massage gun longer than that, so having to restart it is a small inconvenience. I had never heard of Bob and Brad before this massager. I just got offered this through the Amazon Vine program and decided to try it out. I have tried a lot of no-name massagers before. Some of them are junk, some of them actually turn out pretty decent. This is my first of this gooseneck style massager and I was curious to try it. Right away I noticed a lot more detail and care in the packaging of this unit than any of the generic massagers. I immediately saw a lubricant packet included in the package, another first, and something that shows a lot of consideration for the product and the customer. And as soon as I picked the parts up I could tell the sturdiness and fit and finish was a lot better overall. There are instructions but I didn't read them; I'm a man. It was trivially easy to snap the parts together, hit the power button, and get to work. So I really like this massager, a lot. What's great is that it lets me get all those hard-to-reach spots on the back and shoulders so easily. We have other small massagers that we can position on our back while we sit down, but it targets only that spot, then when you want to hit a different spot you have to sit up and reposition everything. This gooseneck design let's you move it around wherever you want effortlessly. It's easier, and it's more versatile because it's a single-head type design unlike the 4- or 6- head units we would use otherwise, that have trouble targeting one spot on the shoulder for instance. There are 5 power settings, speed settings really, and they cover a significant range. The massage is very comfortable between the speed settings and the included attachments. I'm happy with this massager and I think it's a good value. Bob and Brad is a brand I will look for in the future.

I've tried several BOB AND BRAD products and already have a couple of their massage guns, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. What makes this one stand out is the extension handle, which makes it incredibly useful for reaching those hard-to-reach spots on your back and other areas without needing someone else to help. I also like that the extension can be removed, allowing you to use it more like a traditional massage gun. That flexibility is a nice touch. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't feel nearly as powerful or premium as some of BOB AND BRAD's higher-end massage guns. With the extension removed, the vibration and sound in particular feel a little "cheap" compared to their nicer models. Overall, I think this is a great product for the very specific use case of reaching difficult areas, and the handle is genuinely useful. Just don't expect the same power or build quality you'd get from their more expensive massage guns.

As one with too many chronic pain issues, I own more than one massager. To be honest, many are either too difficult to use or are not powerful enough to feel like an actual massage. This machine suffers from neither of these issues. Even without the included extender, this device allows me to reach EVERY area of my painful back without stretching or stressing my arms. And it is extremely powerful as well. In fact, it is TOO powerful for me on its higher settings, but effective for me at its lower ones. With the extender arm, it allows me to massage my legs without putting any stress on my back. This massager comes packaged in a nice box, and is packaged nicely enough to make a great gift. It comes charged and ready to use out of the box, and it includes a cable for recharging. It comes with t he ball attachment installed, but also includes a flat head, a bullet head, and a u-shaped head, as well as an instruction manual that details the functions of each attachment. In fact, the instruction manual is more thorough than most, and is especially great if you are new to using massagers like this. The package also includes a storage pouch and some lubricating oil for when the device starts making noises. And unlike too many other massagers, everything fits neatly and easily back into the box for easy storage. The best part of this massager is that it is easy to use on yourself or on another person. Too many massagers are easy to use on another, but too awkward to try to use on oneself. Additionally, I think this is very well priced. It costs less than many inferior massagers. It is effective, has a great grip, and is comfortable to hold. What more could you ask for really? If you are looking for a quality, affordable massager, I suggest you add this one to your cart. I’ve been watching Bob and Brad’s videos for years and am a long time subscriber to their channel. They are knowledgeable guys and have taught me a lot. I’ve owned 3 different massagers similar to this over the years but I chose to order this one because of the long handle, allowing me to massage my own back without having to involve my husband. The set comes in the manufacturer’s retail box and contains everything you will need for a powerful massage. A detailed introduction manual is available as well as a quick start card with just the pertinent information for those that are anxious to get started. The set includes several different heads as well as an extension arm so I can reach my own back. A charging cord, a velvety drawstring bag, and a tube of lubricating grease are also included. Besides being able to reach the entirety of my own back without having the clever extension arm, my favorite thing about this device is how lightweight it is. I put the entire device including the extension on my kitchen scale and it only weighs about 20 ounces. My arms don’t get tired while using it because it weighs next to nothing and I can switch to my non dominant hand and still easily be able to control it. There are 5 levels of power and even the lowest one seems strong to me. The device will shut itself off after 15 minutes of continuous use, but you can turn it back on immediately if you weren’t quite done yet. My favorite attachment is the ball, made of dense foam it feels gentler to me than the other plastic ones do. This unit is unique because of its versatility. It can be used without the extension arm for other areas that can be easily reached such as the shoulders and biceps. It makes a fair amount of noise, as do all percussion massagers, but I don’t mind. If you’re in need of a good back massager and you want to be able to do it yourself, this one is worth its weight in gold. For under 60 dollars, it’s an excellent value and relaxes my sore muscles effectively.

I've been dealing a lot with backpain and hip pain. I've tried massagers in the past and some would work for a bit, then die or I would have to twist and bend in ways to reach the painful spots. Then of course, that defeats the purpose because now the pain has moved from all the twisting, bending and yoga moves. The extension on this looks funny. I'm not going to lie that when I took it out of the bag I was pretty startled. It looked weird. Not going to lie. But after getting it all set up and actually reading the directions, I was really happy. I could reach points on my back that I couldn't before. The different attachments brings different feelings. I do like the ball shape just as a broad piece, but there are more narrowed options. The instructions do a great job on explaining the benefits of each piece. There are several speed settings you can cycle through. But I do warn to be careful! I did pinch myself messing around with the speeds by touching the attachment area. Really stupid, but you know we all do stupid things sometimes. I'm pretty happy with the battery life. I have used it several times and have yet to need to charge it yet.

This massager is a great design and really comfortable to use! I have been using this massager for my shoulder and neck pain and have never used one that works so well! The hook design is fantastic and allows you to hold the unit from a comfortable position. The massager works great and uses an 8mm stroke. The head is changeable to different tips depending on what muscles you are trying to get to. I find the ball the best and find it is fantastic for shoulder and neck. The unit on low works very well, and turning it up to medium gets into your shoulder blades and deeper tissues very well. It is pretty durable and allows you to pull the massager quite a bit without feeling like you may damage it. It's a really good size and shape for upper back with the wand, which can be removed for upper arms, calves, etc. It charges with usbc and holds a solid charge. I have not found the end of the battery yet with random charges, and I've used it quite a bit. This is a well made, excellent design massager with enough power to work deep tissues, and the unique hook design is great for shoulders and upper back / neck! I love this unit and I am very happy with my purchase! For the price it can't be beat!

Overall we have 10 various massagers branded Bob and Brad and at least half of them are quite good, reliable and beneficial. As for the hand type and extension handle massagers, this would be our 3rd. By far, this wasn't as strong as the others. I did like that it has a handle where your hand is in between and also being able to remove the arm so this can be shortened those are a big plus which makes this 4 stars. Speed settings, the highest speed is only comparable to the lowest speed power/strength of another similar massager we also have and is not even brand name. So by that, i am a tad bit dissappointed, but that has a permanent handle and is limiting in it's reach. Pain relief is as expected and the weight isn't too heavy. I just don't understand why amongst the 3 extension hand massagers, 2 are not as high power on their highest speed setting. I have 2 eye massagers, heating pads, a neck shiatsu massager, 40-head massage gun, and the hand massager using only heat and compression. Out of all 10 Bob and Brad, we liked the hand heat compression, shiatsu neck massager, 4 head massage gun, one of the eye massagers and definitely the ultra mini massage gun. All in all 5 out of 10 Bob and Brad products we definitely liked.
