This is an interesting cleaning sponge. It is not really abrasive, yet it cleans like it is abrasive. I took this out to my boat with a small bowl of water and dampened the sponge. I had black scuff marks in my gel coat from the rubber bumper on the trailer rubbing when the boat was put on the trailer at the lake. I rubbed the damp sponge on the black streaks and after 30 seconds the streaks were gone. I rinsed the sponge and the black that had built up on the sponge rinsed away leaving the sponge clean again. I then used it on a white scuff spot on the black bumper that runs around the boat. Once again after less than 30 seconds the scuff mark was gone. I then went over to my pool which is an in ground liner pool. The power went out for 10 days last year and the pool had gotten pretty bad. There was still a stain of black grim around the old waterline. I had tried to clean it with a normal sponge and rag, but figured I would have to end up using a cleaner that would be safe for the liner and pool to get it clean. I used the damp boat sponge to rub the liner and in less than 10 seconds it had taken of the stain on the waterline. Here are my overall thoughts. Could I have cleaned all the areas of the boat that the sponge did with other cleaning products and used a cleaning product to get the waterline clean on the pool? Yes, I probably could. The great thing about this sponge is just by itself it can clean everything by itself. I do not have to have 3 or 4 different cleaning products to clean different areas of grim or scuffs or stains. Another great thing is it’s not a chemical or abrasive like a polish. I do not have to worry about damaging the very areas I am trying to clean. Another great thing is you can take it anywhere. Just stick it in the boat or truck and anytime you are out you have a tool to clean up any scuffs, marks or grim. You get 3 sponges so put 1 in the boat, 1 in the truck and 1 in your normal cleaning kit for the home.

I have used these Marinamax boat cleaner sponges to clean my fishing boat. It is great that they do not require soap, since I do not want to add soap to the lake water. One broke a little as soon as I started washing the boat, but I could still use it. I have used with great success similar sponges in the kitchen. They have a great value and I would recommend them to a friend!

So picked these up in hopes of cleaning up our 1968 fiberglass boat. Came with dinginess and dirtyness. So far, these cleaning sponges have worked beyond what I've expected. Hold together we'll. Makes cleaning easier. Would recommend.

This is a great option for getting that scuff off the marine leather. I used it after a trip on a smudge on my seats and I was surprised that the stiffer inner layer made it feel like it lasted a little longer and was easier to scrub with it. They are a good size---similar to any kitchen sponge you can buy. I wouldn't do the deck---these cleaners would never last. But in general, to get the seats after a day out, these work pretty well.

This is a magic eraser, just packaged as a marine eraser. They are larger than the Mr. Clean version but I have seen some larger ones in the stores. Ok value for the money - shipped very quickly and easy to use.

I am pretty obsessed with these. I am one of those crazy people that hates when the boat gets dirty and these work great. You literally just add some water and these take care of the rest. You can reuse them a lot too, I used them an entire day on the boat, saved it and used it our next day out too. These are just like the magic eraser sponges if you're familiar with those. I will be ordering more of these because I tried some boat wipes that didn't work nearly as well as these and weren't reusable. These are the best of both worlds.

I use these to quickly remove small scuffs and stains on my white gel coat. When washing the boat after a fishing day I throw these into the wash bucket along with the soap and sponges. If the sponge won't take the scuff off I pull an eraser out and it quickly does the removal job. These are a great addition to your standard boat cleaning stuff!

They are sturdy cleaning sponges that hold up very well with usage and will clean just about anything from a boats hull. They're gentle enough to use anywhere on most boats and are great at removing dried on liquids and debris. I like them very much for helping to clean the hull of my boat to help prevent the spread of invasive biological species between the different lakes that I use. The Boat Eraser sponges make boat cleaning much easier and I consider them an excellent value!

We had a couple of stains on our pontoon that we’d tried to get off with other cleaners and microfiber clothes but to no avail. This magic eraser was able to remove one really stubborn one that I thought might have been damaged vinyl because we’d tried a couple of times to remove it unsuccessfully. There were a couple that it didn’t work on but most of the time it worked really well. No damage to the vinyl, even with some decent pressure being applied. I wish it could have gotten everything clean but was really happy with what it managed to do.

We bought a neglected 38' boat with black marks all over the walls/ceilings. I first tried vinegar and water and had some mild success with a lot of elbow grease. But these marine erasers took almost all of it off and with much less effort. Worked equally well on vinyl and fiberglass. It looks so much better now (seller could have gotten more $ out of it had he tried cleaning it up with these first). They work like a more sturdy "magic eraser."

I use the original magic eraser around my house, but I have never tried it on my boat. These work like those and are designed specifically to be used on boats. They are bigger and therefore easier to hold when working on a tough scuff mark on your boat. They won't remove deep scratches or gouges like rubbing compound (and I did not expect them to), but they do a pretty good job removing stubborn marks and stains on my boat.

I've used other brands and these are great for detail work, and heavy cleaning, on the boat. They are a larger version of the popular magic eraser but are a bit more durable and larger. That said, don't expect a long life out of these if you're doing heavy cleaning. I've gone through multiples with the other brands and expect my Spring cleaning will be the same with these. They work well on vinyl, stainless, and fiberglass. I often use these along with other cleaning sprays and these help get that extra deep clean.

This is a great product. It is soft as to not scratch your boat. It is truly amazing, it takes off stains and other dirty. It is rainy season and my boat is very dirty and this product cleaned surfaces with fairly little effort. It can get into tight areas. This is by far the best scrub pad I have used and will use these from now on. Great Product, great value.
