Description

STAR BRITE Aqua Water Tank & System Flush cleans and deodorizes fresh water holding tanks and supply systems. Directions: 1) Remove all water from tank and system by turning on the water pump, opening tank drain valves and opening all faucets and showerheads. 2) After system has fully drained, turn off water pump, close all valves and faucets and showerheads. 3) Add fresh water to tank to fill it approximately 1/2 full. 4) Add appropriate amount of AQUA Water Tank & System Flush required for full tank capacity (1 gallon for every 100 gallons of tank capacity). 5) Add fresh water until tank is full. 6) Move boat or RV several times in order to disperse Water Tank & System Flush throughout water. 7) Turn on water pump and open all faucets and showerheads, keeping them open and flowing for about 3 minutes. 8) Close all faucets and showerheads and turn off water pump. 9) Allow the treated water to remain in the system for approximately 30 minutes, then turn on the water pump and open all fixtures, allowing them to flow freely for about 3 minutes before closing them and turning off the water pump. 10) Open the tank drain valves to completely drain the tank, which will now be clean and deodorized. 11) Close the valve and fill the tank with freshwater. 12) Turn on water pump and open all water fixtures to allow water to flow freely for a few minutes to remove Water Tank & System Flush from water lines. To prevent water from picking up taste or smell from tank walls or pipes, use AQUA Water System Conditioner. To maintain water quality, treat it with AQUA Water Treatment & Freshener every time you add water to the tank.

    • Gets more out than you thought
Our tanks needed a good cleaning/sterilize after we purchased the boat. To our surprise this stuff cleaned out particles and algae that we didn't even know was there. We had water flushed the tanks before cleaning and just seem like water so this stuffs certainly works. The sucky part is it takes at least 3 tank refills to get rid of all of it. Granted we were slightly over concentrated(full bottle into 2 tanks totaling 85 gallons) with the application. But I would do it the same way again. ... show more

I have a 15 year old truck camper that gets regular use but sometimes sits with empty hit and fresh water tanks for a few months at a time. I have used bleach to sanitize tanks prior and hate how long it takes to get rid of the smell afterward. This product seems to have done a nice job breaking down sediment and algae and has a pleasant smell. I used a bit too much though so had to fill and flush twice to get rid of the residual, but I’m happy with the results! ... show more

Added 18 Oz. to 5 gal. of water twice (total 36 oz. STAR BRIGHT and 10 gal. water.) and flushed the system like winterizing, only difference I filled the hot water tank. I left the mixture in over a weekend and flushed with clear water. FANTASTIC RESULTS !!!! Rotten egg smell GONE.
