I didn't need this for my dog, but so glad I got it! LOL. A few minutes into the drive and she fell asleep, awww. I wish the back was more sturdy. When she moves, it tugs on the strap and loosens the back. Or maybe they just make long straps and remove the back completely. All equipment and some extras were included. My dog is older (12) and sometimes has an issue with not being able to hold it. We were 5 minutes from home before all hell broke loose. He pooped the most noxious poop I’ve ever smelled, my nose was burning even with all the windows down. There was no where to pull over so I just had to deal with it until we got home. I get to dealing with it and I am not exaggerating or joking at all when I say damn near every inch of the back protective cover was covered with poop. Took the old man for a bath then went to deal with the car, took the bed and everything out and my upholstery was completely unscathed!!! Okay, after spending some time trying to find a good comfy xmas present for our furr son, THIS ONE TOOK THE HOLY GRAIL! It came in a small box, I thought to myself this is def the wrong order, but the instructions were clear, let it sit out for some time, put the cover on and it will start to mold itself nicely for the comfort of your pup. My son and my pup have both played and fall asleep on it already, (pup 65lbs, son 23lbs) we got the XL and lets just say our pup all he wants to do is play with his toys on it, lay in it, be lazy in it, sleep in it, and sit in it. Its been great!! No complaints. If we ever get a secondly furr sibbling i will be purchasing a second one. It looks so comfortable I might take a nap in it, chill eat some popcorn or something, idk. My little girl gets very nervous in the car. She used to jump into my grandson's car seat and that's where she felt secure so I knew I had to get her a doggy car seat. This allows her to be elevated so she can see out the window and has a very comfortable fluffy pillow inside for her to relax and be comfortable. She's probably about the maximum weight you'd want to have in there as she's around 17 lb. It says up to 20 I believe and I wouldn't go over that. The straps are a little lightweight so anything heavier could possibly wear down those straps over time. But doesn't she just look so comfy in there. ... show more
