She loves to hang her head out the window while we drive and We wanted to find something she could both lay and sleep while long driving as well as sit in while she gazed out the window. She is 46 lbs and this is a bit small but it fit her decent. Safety is so so. she needs to be locked onto the seat rest .. The picture has it seem bigger than it is. The dog seat is not the right size for my very standard SUV seats. It’s too big, so the part where my dog ideally would rest his head, hangs off the seat. My dog is older (12) and sometimes has an issue with not being able to hold it. We were 5 minutes from home before all hell broke loose. He pooped the most noxious poop I’ve ever smelled, my nose was burning even with all the windows down. There was no where to pull over so I just had to deal with it until we got home. I get to dealing with it and I am not exaggerating or joking at all when I say damn near every inch of the back protective cover was covered with poop. Took the old man for a bath then went to deal with the car, took the bed and everything out and my upholstery was completely unscathed!!!
