    • Chew proof AND quick release!
I have gone through so many “chew proof”, “chew resistant” and “tactical” collars I’ve lost count. My large dogs somehow get them off while wrestling and then switch to a game of tug of war. They destroy even the toughest collars in just one backyard session. Doggie daycare requires quick release buckles and the metal choker style collars slip right off. This collar addresses both issues like a dream. I’ll never buy another collar again! UPDATE: We’ve had this collar for a while now and I’m starting to experience the same issue as some others mentioned where the clasp doesn’t always stay completely secure. That being said, I’ve never had it come completely unclasped and it’s never fallen off. I have (2) 100lb dogs that have a very aggressive play style so the fact that we haven’t lost this collar yet is a miracle. To walk on a leash I switch to one of their “proven” collars just to be on the safe side, but I’m still happy with this purchase. One of my dogs has gone over a year without a collar because I couldn’t find anything to withstand their roughhousing (and I was tired of buying collars over and over and over again!) therefore he did not have an ID tag if he were to escape from our yard. This is a good sturdy chain collar and chain collars are hard to find these days. Was always having problems when my dogs played they would break the nylon collars and that is no longer a problem. Only concern is that the pinch pins to undo the clasp seem they could become bent, but so far no issues. The old nylon collars would also start to stink when they got wet and that is no longer an issue either. ... show more

    • Broken clasp on collar after a few uses
We only used this collar once a week when our dog went to daycare as they preferred chain collars. This collar feels very sturdy but the clasp broke after a few uses. Only one side stayed clasped as there are 2 holes in the clasp. We no longer take the dog to that daycare so we don’t need the collar anymore but I would have liked for the clasp to have lasted longer.     • Clasps releases ALL THE TIME
I like the chain itself. Its thick and good quality but the clasps comes undone all the freaking time. I cant even use it because every 2 minutes its releasing and coming off. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
