I was a little hesitant about purchasing a wooden bed frame off of Amazon. This same bed frame is on two other sites but Amazon was the least expensive so I took a chance. I am so glad I did. It is a very solid piece of furniture that is timeless and that I will have a long time. It fits many different styles. It wasn't bad to put together and as you put it together, you can tell its durability. Furniture isn't made to last anymore but this will. Very solid bed, easy to put together with one person. The legs for the center support are about 1/2 - 3/4 inch too long though, and they are not adjustable. At first I couldn’t get the center pole to line up enough to be able to screw them into the threaded inserts on the headboard and footboard at all. I went back, tightened all the bolts, checked to make sure the board #4 was oriented correctly, and while the support lined up a little bit closer to where they needed to be screwed in to the head and foot boards, I still had to force it and the pole sits higher than the sides of the frame where the mattress rests. I am worried that over time the pressure will cause it to break. This is probably not a good description, but the short version is that the legs for the center support were too high and should either be shortened or made adjustable. ... show more
