Because it is a king and supports a large heavy mattress, I cut adhesive felt pads to stick on the bottom of the legs and center support to help protect my vinyl plank flooring (just in case). We are using a 13.5 " hybrid mattress (with no box springs) which creates a perfect height to easily get in/out of bed, display the full attractive headboard, and access the height of our existing bedside tables.
