Great quality for the price. It really is solid wood, and it's sturdy yet light. The industrial design is smart, and the aesthetic design is very attractive in person. It assembles easily and has good instructions. The mattress is held in by the edges and corners just enough to prevent movement. But it's easy to pop the mattress out for changing bedding. I was concerned it might creak, so I added a tiny bit of foam padding in a couple spots just in case (very carefully since it can strain the wood), and it's been 100% silent. I moved it by myself recently in a pickup on top of a blanket and it held up well. It's just right in every way, I'm really happy with it. Just make sure to budget time to unpack it. Because it's wood, it has a lot of protection to prevent wear in transit, and it takes a while to open it all. ... show more

This is a shockingly good bed for the price - a million times better and cheaper than anything you’ll get from IKEA. Very sturdy, the instructions for assembly could not have been clearer or easier to understand, and all the parts come pre-packaged and labeled according to the instructions + EXTRA screws and hardware in case you lose any (and there are no mistakes in the instructions!). I was expecting a hot mess from this bed frame but am really really happy with it and have been receiving compliments from visitors. Looks like a much more expensive MCM bed than what it actually is. My only two complaints are the slats are a little rough and could potentially give you a splinter, and the caramel color stain is not as even or consistent as I would like, but it’s not at all bad - and I’m a perfectionist - but for the price I am more than overjoyed to overlook these two things, the bed still looks great. Highly recommend if you hate fussy bed frames and just want something that looks nice and minimal and is sturdy and easy to put together. ... show more

I bought this frame for a guest room. I wasn't sure what to expect that this price point, but my partner and I are very impressed! It's a beautiful color and well-finished, very smooth. It feels quite sturdy, and as it won't be used daily as it's in the guest room, I expect it will last a long time. Pros: - Sturdy—love the center bar that is hidden in the center of the frame under the mattress, rather than at the sides like some cheaper frames have - Wood looked to be good quality - Attractive Cons: - The slats. They are unfinished wood, came needing to be sanded, and most importantly have NO give. They make for a stiff sleeping experience. I would recommend buying a better set of slats elsewhere. Our main bedroom has a set from Ikea that we like. Good to know: - Assembly wasn't hard, necessarily, but it did feel like it required two people. Overall I think this is a great value, especially if you can get it on sale! ... show more
