I bought this frame for a guest room. I wasn't sure what to expect that this price point, but my partner and I are very impressed! It's a beautiful color and well-finished, very smooth. It feels quite sturdy, and as it won't be used daily as it's in the guest room, I expect it will last a long time. Pros: - Sturdy—love the center bar that is hidden in the center of the frame under the mattress, rather than at the sides like some cheaper frames have - Wood looked to be good quality - Attractive Cons: - The slats. They are unfinished wood, came needing to be sanded, and most importantly have NO give. They make for a stiff sleeping experience. I would recommend buying a better set of slats elsewhere. Our main bedroom has a set from Ikea that we like. Good to know: - Assembly wasn't hard, necessarily, but it did feel like it required two people. It arrives in a long box, about 85 lbs. easily carried by two persons. The contents are well-organized and the hardware enclosed in a bubble display for accuracy. The pieces are numbered and the step by step directions are easy to follow, and the parts all assemble and fit. Someone took the time to make this complete and easy. The bed is beautiful. It is sturdy. It is super comfortable, it doesn’t smell so your sleep is undisturbed. The height is perfect for my four inch mattress and the size is true functionality. The stain is as described in the pictures. Like I said, some thought went into this bed, from the packaging, parts labeling, the assembly and fit, the instructions, the design and the beauty.
