I was a bit concerned that the batteries were not going to function properly with my Canon 70D due to the voltage (7.4 vs. 7.2), so after receiving them, I contacted the company. Within minutes I received an email requesting that I call the company to discuss the issue. I did, and was relieved to hear from the person with whom I spoke that there was no issue and that the batteries would work fine with my Canon 70D. Done over a holiday period, that is truly exceptional service. As for the batteries themselves, I have found that they hold a charge incredibly well (a full charge the day I received them is still hanging on almost a month later after taking a significant number of images on my Canon 70D in very low temps). For the price, and with the level of customer service received, I cannot complain. A good buy.

These batteries work very well. They have a good, long life. No surprises so far there. The charger works fine too, but it charges much (!) more slowly that the original Canon charger. I will usually use it to start charging a second battery on it, but will switch the battery over to the Canon charger, once it (the Canon charger) has finished charging the first battery. This way, we are still speeding up the process to some degree at least. Very happy with the price, quality and life of the batteries.

Big Mike, brother you rock. Wicked fast service. So far great value, only wish is that the charger was two slots to charge both at once. But that's just nit picking. Thanks for speedy delivery sir or ma'am. Update: I used the product over the weekend February 8th 2015, and what nice battery life. I have the Canon 70D and Battery Grip for EOS 70D Digital SLR Camera, shot over 600 photos with these batteries installed. While using the live view, or Digital LCD screen, and over the course of the day still had half battery left! I'm happy to save money on this product over Canon OEM battery. Again thank you Big Mike, you made money, I saved money, everybody wins!

For the price of that I paid, this is an excellent deal. You get the complete package for less than the price of a single battery from Canon. So far this has performed really well although I have not kept any metrics. I've only used one of the batteries so far but that is because it lasts so long. I just went on a 5 day trip and a fully charged Canon battery and one of these batteries was more than sufficient. In fact, there is still plenty of charge left. I did not have to charge at all. I also did a lot of night shooting so I made good use of the flash.

No issues here. I like the smaller more compact charger than the Cannon. I use these on my 5d Mark III and they work perfectly. Edit November 17, 2014: I purchased two of these batteries on August 10th to suppliment my 2 Cannon and Waston batteries. I am running Magic Lantern, shooting 1080p video (not raw) for a feature film, and keeping the camera on as much as possible to power the video village/monitor. The software Magic Lantern features shorten the time for a full charge a camera can be left on (no powersaving) from about 90 minutes without to an hour with. I was noticing issues with these batteries before I used Magic Lantern, but with it running it becomes very obvious. Both of these batteries are much worse than another brand (Watson) I got from B&H. In fact one of them will drop very quickly to 50% (Magic Lantern gives an nice percentage) and at around 43% it will die after say 20 minutes of use and never be "low". I had thought I had seen 2 bars before and then "bam" dead before I ran Magic Lantern, but the % is much easier to watch the battery life and use (versus 3 bars). The other battery is also unpredictable. It might be a case of heavy amperage draw on that one, but I just started to notice it was unpredictable yesterday when it died in the middle of a take. Based on such poor performance on both batteries I would not recommend these to anyone for video. I do like the charger and I will be able to use these for photos, emergency backups, or LED lights but I am having to purchase 2 more batteries to replace these. Actually will be purchasing 3 because I love the Magic lantern information and its well worth the cost of an additional battery. My batteries are labeled so I can keep easy track.

I was hesitant to buy generic batteries for my 6D but felt like I was getting price gouged by Canon's OEM batteries. Plus, I wanted an additional charger to keep in my camera bag for those unforeseen low-battery emergencies. After reading as many amazon reviews as I could I decided on this kit. My 6D recognizes these batteries and gives a full readout of remaining power and recharge performance. What I believe happened, was that Canon at some point used firmware or software to warn/scare users and disable power reading [of generic batteries]. Generic battery manufacturers fought back and revised their products, and that's what you're seeing on the marketplace now. But this is just pure speculation. ; )
