This was purchased to use with our 20+ year-old Kitchen Aid Architect series (Superba) Gas Range. This is the 30" model, with four burners (that's all that was offered at that time.) Pleased to report that the board fits nicely over the burners, and fits well, tilting slightly up to the back. (However. that is due to the design of our range...not a defect of the board itself.) The board has one very small crack in the top, but nothing that is of major concern. When purchasing natural wood products such as this, you should be prepared for these sorts of things as wood is, of course, a natural product. There are a couple of things you should think about in regards to use. First, you will not want to put this on a stove that has been used and is hot!! If you do not create a fire hazard, you will certainly reduce the life of the product. Similarly when using the oven. Our Kitchen Aid stove vents through the top in the center of the burners. If the top is installed on top all of that heat will flow and collect under the wood board! This will increase the likelihood of twist, warp, and/or split. About the finish, it's a hand-crafted product. There are some marks from machining in the top depressions, for example, the top is secured in part with nails that are filled. If these things bother you this may not be the product for you. The joints are standard finger joints not more expensive dovetail. The wood is varied, and there were some small tearouts, etc, in the wood grain. These were not at all troublesome to this user! The color as can be seen in the photograph is warm biased to a golden-brown finish. It has both character and appeal. It has a touch of the warehouse feel/reclaimed wood. While nothing is stopping you from using this as a cutting board, it will degrade the finish and visual appeal. Maybe that's okay if you plan to replace it regularly, or run down to the woodwork shop and shove it into the belt sander. Likely most do not have this facility, and a separate cutting board may save some regrets later. Treat it well and a regular wipe-over with a slightly damp cloth will keep your wood top looking fresh. Final thoughts. Would we buy this board again from this vendor? The answer is yes! The price is fair, the quality reasonable, and the utility valuable for us. There are other choices, but this one appeared to check all the boxes. Recommended? Absolutely without hesitation - provided you understand the product you are buying. Real wood products will vary in quality, finish, and longevity. It's not plastic, they don't all come out perfect, and they don't all look the same.

Nice looking but came with what appears to be existing damage. The cracks aren’t loose. They appear to have been glued together but slowing still coming apart. Future buyers be weary. Not super noticeable unless you do a close inspection. Update: 5 weeks later and the crack naturally just got worse. No heat nor anything placed on it. Seems it’s a product issue. Do not buy.

I absolutely love the concept of this noodle board. Looks absolutely fabulous in my kitchen and gives me extra counter space. I’m giving it only 3 stars because for some reason the finished edges became warped. It’s not really that noticeable but I don’t understand how it did that and there is no way I can fix it without compromising the finish of the board. I still love it though. It has these three indents on the side where I place bowls when prepping and it also has a reservoir around the perimeter to catch liquids to prevent spills onto the floor. There are holes in the front and back and the side have bigger handle openings good for ventilation. This is for a gas stovetop. Clears the grates nicely and big enough to cover a standard stovetop. And the color is a beautiful chestnut honey. All in all I am very happy with this noodle board. Elevated my kitchen function and coziness.

Fits great to my stove top, only thing, I put some none slip stick on's to keep it from moving around but no big deal, they were 3$ for like 100 of them, and now it doesn't move, great quality, looks beautiful, very solid!

It's a beautiful piece but had to return it twice. Both the covers for the stove top were cracking. Where the wood is flue or separates. It does look nice when it's not coming apart.
