    • Finally a pillow that doesn’t cause neck pain!!!

I’ve been struggling with neck pain and searching for a pillow for over a year. This is the FIRST pillow (I’ve tried all the pillows- Purple, COOP, Tempurpedic, regular old down, feather, polyfill pillows) all without success and continued neck pain. This Bluewave pillow with its removable inserts arrived yesterday and I woke up PAIN FREE. This morning! I don’t remember waking up trying to position my pillow differently in the night- something that constantly has woken me up many times a night. I love how the inserts are marked with their thickness so you have a measurable idea of what is working. If you have neck pain and have had issues finding a pillow, please give this one a try, it’s also reasonably priced at a QUARTER of what my Purple pillow cost me. In the end price didn’t matter, finding a good pillow did and I was willing to pay anything for that but I mention the cost because the prices are truly insane for pillows. ... show more

    • Perfect for cervical instability

I’ve finally found the pillow I’ve been searching for! I have cervical instability and this pillow is awesome for my neck. I love that I can select and change the height and feel at any point depending on my needs that night. Plus I sleep on all sides so like that the edges don’t taper off to a point or have too much material that it pushes into the sides of my nose and makes it hard to breathe. I find that this pillow has the perfect combination of firm and supportive, but yet still soft and squishy enough that my head doesn’t hurt or bounce around on the pillow. This pillow also wasn’t overly smelly right out of the bag. It still had the typical memory foam smell from being sealed up, but minimal, and after airing it out for a day it what good to go. I think this is a quality pillow at a really fair price point. I have seven other pillows I rotate through depending on how much my neck hurts, but now I can finally start tossing some out. I am a side and back sleeper and this has been the answer to my neck and shoulder pain and my insomnia! I’m 5’2” and needed a pillow with a lower loft. I have gone through a dozen pillows in the past year trying to find the right fit. My favorite aspect of the pillow is it’s adjustable to your needs and the layers are soft but supportive.     • Roll up for neck support! adjustability is great. Smells a bit.
Being able to adjust the height by teeny tiny increments is fabulous and has done wonders for my neck pain. After one week of airing out the memory foam still has a bit of a chemically smell that is especially noticeable if you are sleeping on your stomach and your nose is mashed right into it. Having been frustrated with every pillow somehow being too high for years (even the soft squishy down ones), this was a worthwhile find. MONTHS LATER LIGHT BULB MOMENT, ETA: I have been rolling the 0.75" pillow up for neck support. This works perfectly, since it can be rolled up however much you need for your particular situation, compared to a lot of neck support pillows of a fixed thickness, which were usually too high for me. These pillows can be pretty much squished or folded into whatever shape you need, so it is working out really, really well. Edit #2: For stomach sleepers dealing with anterior pelvic tilt, using one of the thin layers under the stomach seems to get me a little closer to "neutral spine". ... show more

    • Disappointing compared to bluewaves other thin pillows
Bluewave makes some great thin pillows and the 2.75" is my daily. 2.5-2.6" would be my absolute ideal pillow so I thought buying this stack-able version would be perfect as I'd be able to create a 2.5" version. However, to my disappointment, the pillows lack holes in them like the other Bluewave pillows. This makes them feel much more stiff and less ventilated, and overall lower quality. I will end up returning it and sticking to my trusty 2.75" Bluewave pillow instead. I will still give this pillow 3 stars as it is not terrible, but certainly not at the standard of what I expect with Bluewave pillows. ... show more

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I've been using it for several years already! I feel like it can be adjusted to anyone's shoulder height and preference! My husband even stole a couple of inserts that i don't use.
