  • For the price packs quite a bit of power
Style: BLUETTI AC70
I bought this unit on sale. I plugged in my electric tea kettle, toaster, fan, ipad, iphone, tv. Nothing tripped it off. Yes you can put in power boost mode and that gives you lots of power. Before i plug anything into the Bluetti I first use my plug in my amp and watt meter to see if it might trip my power station. Love the app and the fact that it works with bluetooth. Yes I recommend this item ... show more

  • Real live reviewer !
Style: BLUETTI AC70
I’m not a BOT or paid reviewer . This is probably the best purchase I ever made , as a camping tool. Bluetti ac70 does exactly as advertised . I’ve looked and checked out 25 or more Power stations and Bluetti was priced right and does the job ! Compared to the Jackery (way overpriced) my unit works as well if not better !! ... show more

  • Only delivers a fraction of the stated capacity
Style: BLUETTI AC70
I tested my unit with various AC loads on ECO mode. The unit would only produce ~460Wh rather than the specified 768Wh. This is a 60% reduction from stated capacity. For instance, starting at 100% charge, it would only power a 24W lightbulb for 19 hours rather than 32 hours expected from a 768 Wh supply. I will reach out to tech support as I may have simply received a defective unit. I suggest you test yours using a known load and recording the number of hours it powers that device. I will update my review if I find this was simply one defective device. Regardless, you should check your own before relying on it when you really need it. Updated: I confirmed from the manual that the BATTERY CAPACITY is 768Wh, but the unit's POWER DELIVERY CAPABILITY is actually the stated battery capacity times the efficiency of the system (85%) times 90% of the battery capacity (the unit will only allow the batteries to discharge down to 10% rather than 0%) minus 15w/h that the the unit itself consumes to function. Bluetti supplies this information (and formula) in the manual. So run time is calculated with the following formula: 768Wh x 85% (efficiency) x 90% (battery discharge range) - (15Wh + power required). The example they provide for a 40W fridge comes out to = (768 x 0.85 x 0.9) / (15 + 40) = 10.7h run time. So not the 768Wh/40W = 19.2h you might expect. To be fair to Bluetti, it's likely that most, if not all of the power station manufacturers are stating the battery capacity rather than the power station capability. Keep this in mind and set your expectations accordingly. I'm new to these battery power stations so this difference between expectations and reality may be obvious to experienced users. My knock with this Bluetti unit may be a bit harsh as this seems to be common practice across power station suppliers (advertising the unit's battery capacity rather than it's capability), so I increased my rating from 2 stars to 4 since other than this one shortcoming, this is an otherwise good unit. I do want to point out some other testing I performed with mostly positive results: The boost mode worked effectively. I was able to power a 1500W microwave and a 1500W heater with boost enabled. One minor drawback of that test was that the unit didn't display accurate power consumption up at those levels (it maxed out around 1200W). I'm not sure if that affected the battery % remaining, but it doesn't matter that much as the unit should only deliver 1500W for about 20-25 minutes. The good news is that it will indeed deliver up to 1500W which will power virtually all home appliances. The other measurement I monitored during my testing was power factor (which is a good indication of the quality of the a/c signal; it takes into account the distortion in the a/c waveform as well as the current and voltage phase difference). This unit consistently delivered a very high PF of ~0.99 out of a perfect 1.0 (this is very good). ... show more

I love this power station as a back up generator for my RV. The handle makes it easy to move around. The battery charge seems to last forever!

  • Works great. Good size and value
Style: BLUETTI AC70
Bluetti had a big sale on these when they first came out so it was a great value. 20lbs. Great capacity for the $$. Been using it to run lights for my booths at craft and art fairs the last few weeks and it has been terrific! That is my primary use for it BTW. I can run a slew of 5W LED lamps for 10 hours on a single charge with this unit. Makes my booth pop with light where other booths are pretty dimly lit since most of my venues have no power available. Very happy with it so far. ... show more

  • Did not work from the moment I opened the box.
Style: BLUETTI AC70
I was very disappointed. Neither of the two AC output receptacles worked and I tried everything that I could think of. I received the product on Thursday night and tried to contact Bluetti customer service by email on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Their website says their C/S is available Monday thru Sunday. No response. Finally, "called" C/S on Sunday afternoon and the person I spoke with had no idea what I the problem might be. She said I would have to speak with one of their Tech folks and when I asked about the no email response, she said they were probably off for the weekend where they worked. I finally got a response from one the emails on Monday morning. I then tried everything they suggested, and nothing solved the problem. I finally requested a refund of my money. ... show more
