The media could not be loaded. For a small speaker, it deffinitally packs a punch. When my speaker arrived, I was thrown off by the size. I have an older smaller USB speaker that I like but is lacking in bass. This Tamproad looked like an upgrade so based on reviews I bought it for $35. The sound is clean, that is most important to me. There is bass, but not what you would expect from the looks of that center driver. Moderate bass adds richness to the sound, but don't expect any thumping. I ran a bass test on it and it really fell off below 100hz. One thing I found annoying straight off is the blue light ring around the bass cone. Hurting my eyes at night, the blue is too cold. Noticing there are four screws holding the front of the speaker on, I took the front face off and easily disconnected two white wires on the board= no more ring light and this will only help the battery last longer. (see image) Another thing is that the remote raises volume to 14 but no higher. However, the volume knob does go much higher than the remote, in fact this little box will get loud and stay clean sounding. Blutooth always connects with my iphone 8 but you have to get past the cringy status voices "blutooth connect-duh successfully". FM works for what that's worth. The battery charges quickly and lasts for at least 3 hours nonstop. I haven't tried a flashdrive or media card in it, I just want it for wireless connection. It does work brilliantly for that. Yes, a good sound upgrade over what I had. EDIT 2/23: so two years in this speaker has worked flawlessly, it connects via blutooth to my iPhone every time. Flashdrive works every time. I've put it to use as my traveling guitar amp-acoustic guitar with a Rushhead preamp using an 1/8" stereo cord to the aux speaker input. Nice clear sound with the limitation that it only gets loud enough, you won't rock the local open mic night with it.     • Not loud enough for me
Its a cool little speaker. I really don't care for it because it's not loud enough for me. I use spotify and its has an average sound. When my kids use it the sound is slightly louder. Over all its plays music and holds a charge. I like to clean and listen to music and once I start moving around my house the sounds start to fade out. ... show more

    • Extremely disappointed!
I thought I had made a really good purchase when I first bought this speaker because the sound if very good. However, I started having problems with this speaker just 1 month after receiving - it didn't seem to take a charge easily nor would it hold a charge. I tried letting it charge for longer amounts of time in hopes that it might resolve the problem. Then it began to just turn off after 2 to 3 songs. Purchased a different cord - still no luck. When I tried to test to see if it would work on the radio built into it - I realized the speaker might have been used before because the stations were preset (and you cannot even tune to local stations) however, it would shut off on the radio option as well. After 2 months of purchase, it quit working all together. I reached out to Amazon to message the seller to ask if they had any suggestions on how to get it to work - the only message that popped up was "the return option expired 1 month after receiving" by this point it was already 1 1/2 months. As I mentioned, I thought it was going to be great at first because the sound was really good however, who cares if you can't turn it on. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!! ... show more

I dont feel like it gets as loud as I would want it or that the bass is loud enough but I do like the speaker for what I need it for.
