  • Made my 15 year old BMW's paint like new and smooth like a baby's you-know-what
Size: 128 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
If you like my review, please give it a thumbs-up. I only write reviews to help fellow Amazon shoppers. I am not compensated for any products, (I buy them with my own money, like many of you) and I write what I experience in order to make Amazon Reviews better for us all. I was introduced to Rejex by a good friend who's in the automotive industry when I noticed his Grand Cherokee paint looked like new (his truck was 5 years old). Think of Rejex as a jel-coat for your car's paint. Whether an old or new car, Rejex helps smooth your paint and provides an amazing glow/shine after it's applied. I first bought the smaller 16 ounce size and when I ran out (applied Reject to my 4 cars), I elected to just buy this big gallon jug. Application is really easy. Simply wash your car and then dry it (we use a shop vac to blow the water off our cars to reduce streaking and it makes for a quick drying session). We then park the car in our garage and apply Rejex to the car's body panels. After the Rejex has set and hazed, we then wipe/buff off the Rejex using clean microfiber towels (Amazon Basics do a great job). Once all the Rejex is buffed/wiped clean of the car, we let the car/Rejex cure in the garage for 12 hours or overnight. This curing process is keen to getting a long-lasting Rejex finish and shine. You can let Rejex cure for less time but that will reduce its "hardening" which means your shine will last less than if you let it cure longer. It's not a big deal to let it cure for a few hours instead of overnight. I just like to maximize the curing process to get the longest lasting shine from my application. My above method gives me about a 6 month's shine/durability with each application. I live in a pretty hot summer climate near Sacramento, California and between our summer heat (105+ degrees) and heavy winter rains (20 inches or so from Nov-Mar), Rejex holds up really well and keeps my cars looking new. If you're looking for that showroom factory finish and shine, along with a durable and non-reactive product (Rejex DOES NOT DAMAGE your car's paint), then this is the solution for you. After you apply it and let it cure, I'm sure you'll agree that your car's paint is smooth like a baby's backside. And you'll be amazed how easily water beads up when your car gets wet. I'm talking big bubbles here. Rejex is truly an amazing product and a great investment for any auto enthusiast. ... show more

  • Worth your time and money…
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I used Liquid Glass for decades. Way ahead of its time. When LG went kaput, I used Finish First. The new Liquid Glass formulation was terrible. Nothing wrong with Finish First, I just wanted to try something different. This product is very good. Easy to apply and easy to remove. The shine is excellent and water doesn’t just bead up, it runs off the surface. I like this product. Easier than First Finish to use, and, a small amount goes a long way. Don’t know about the longevity but will add three more applications during the summer. I took a chance and am satisfied with the results. Will continue to use Rejex. No reason not to. ... show more

  • Easy to apply, fantastic, long-lasting finish! Easy to apply, fantastic, long-lasting finish!
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I'm a long-time car guy, I've tried all sorts of wax products. But the last one I will probably ever purchase is RejeX. It just looks great and lasts - on cars and a Class A motorhome. There are all kinds of waxes and ceramic coatings on the market, some are better than others. I personally have found that, for the price, RejeX imparts the best, longest lasting finish I have ever seen on a painted surface or glass. It has been a year since I applied it to our motorhome, I recently washed it and found that the water is still beading up, absolutely incredible! ... show more

Highly recommended, product is solid. I wish I could afford to use it more often that’s the only downside is the price.. but I’d recommend this product on anything I’ve been using it on yachts for years! Last long is durable and leaves a radiant finish!

  • A long lasting shine and bugs are easily removed
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I live in Florida so I wanted to find a product that would withstand the intense sun/heat while making bugs easy to remove while giving an amazing shine, Rejex fit the bill perfectly. I've read some of the negative reviews so I did a little bit of searching before apply Rejex so here are some tips that might help others. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!! Rejex is a polymer, not a wax. As such, it should be applied to clean, dry paint. If you apply it over another wax product, it probably won't last as long. Here are my steps/suggestions to make applying it as easy as possible and to make sure it lasts on your vehicle. I washed my car with Dawn dish soap initially. Dawn is great for removing the previous wax coat so the Rejex can bond with the paint. I thoroughly dried the car then put it in the garage to get it out of the sun. I let it sit for an hour or so in the garage to make sure the paint was cool to the touch. I used terrycloth applicator pads I bought on Amazon to apply the Rejex. A little goes a long way. The key to easy removal is to not put it in heavy. Shake the bottle before using. Work in sections, I do one panel at a time. I apply it in a thin coat, let it dry to a haze for about 15 minutes and then wipe it off with a microfiber towel. If you want to multi-task, start applying it to a second panel, by the time you finish with the second panel, the first panel should be ready to wipe off. I found that I needed to be careful around black window trim and textured black plastic trim pieces. When you get some on the trim, it can leave a white haze to the trim pieces. I used Mother's Back to Black and it cleaned those areas very well making the trim black again. Streaks - Some reviewers complained about streaks. If it's streaking, it's probably being applied to thick or you're not waiting long enough for it to dry to a haze. It should remove easily and be streak free. In the event of streaks, apply less on the rest of the panels and when finished, use a detailing spray to go over the streaky spots, removes it very easily. I also use Rejex around my home to help keep things clean. It works great on sink and shower chrome faucets. It also works great on the shower glass to keep soap scum to a minimum, my wife really loves that part. A few other tips for removing bugs. While Rejex does make it easier to remove bugs, here in the hot Florida sun, it doesn't take too long with the car sitting in the hot sun to bake those bugs onto the finish. I take a cheap, white terry cloth towel and wet it thoroughly and then lay it across the front of my car where the bugs are baked on. I let it sit for about an hour and then remove the towel and spray the area with some detail spray. Using a microfiber cloth, the bugs come off very easily. Remember to turn the MF towel so the bug shells don't scratch your paint. For future washing, I use a soap specifically formulated for car washing so it doesn't strip off the Rejex. If applied correctly, I found that it will last about 6-7 months in the Florida sun before it's time for another application. If your vehicle is kept in the garage, it should last almost a full year. I've read reviews on other products where people got the stuff for free or seriously discounted for their reviews....not me....I paid full price, no discounts, perks or anything else. I'm just lazy and have better things to do on the weekend than waxing my vehicles so I wanted a product that would protect my car, keep it looking good and help me remove these darn Florida bugs without scrubbing until my arm falls off so Rejex works well for me. ... show more

  • Probably as good as it gets without professional ceramic coating.
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I applied Rejex to my 2016 Silverado 2500 11 months ago. (Dec 2022) It still beads and probably has 50-60% of its protection intact. The vehicle is stored outdoors in the southern California sun (30-116 degrees F. ). Presently the Water Beading is intact but I can feel some mild roughness due to mild contaminants on the paint. The vehicle was washed and clayed thoroughly before the 1st application. IMHO claying or machine polishing is very important for adherence as well as feel. The truck is a low metallic silver and showed some minute "blotchy" fading (common for Chevrolet's silver when left outside in the California sun.) before I used the Rejex, This blotchiness is almost imperceptible to most people but I'm obsessive about care finishes. At 11 months I just re-clayed and reapplied the second coat of Rejex. It is back to the slick feel, water beading and shine I achieved 11 months ago. The minimal fading appears to be completely arrested since the 1st Rejex application, in spite of being out in the sun all winter, spring, summer and fall. Note: If applied on rougher surfaces like some fiberglass on boats and RVs I would not expect the same degree of gloss due to the inherent roughness and micro orange-peel of the surface on some of those finishes. They simply break up the light reflected off the paint causing a more dull appearance. I suspect the protection would not be greatly affected however. On Auto paint that is well prepared this stuff enhances slickness and shine incredibly well. Polymers in general don't seem to give as deep a shine as some high end waxes but I don't think they are meant to. To me, polymers seem to be a harder, thinner layer that won't give you the depth of gloss that multiple coats of hand rubbed carnauba waxes will, but polymers seem to last much, much longer, thus providing more protection. Polymers in general, appear to be much more durable also. So to get the best of both worlds I tried to apply a coat of carnauba wax over the cured Rejex. Alas, the Rejex was too slick for the carnauba wax to even adhere to the surface. In addition, it would take me 6-8 hours to completely carnauba hand-wax my large truck. The Rejex went on in 90 minutes. I have a garage full of products collected over 30 years but I just ordered another bottle of Rejex. I'm hooked as I have never had a polish/wax last over 11 months. Incredible!!! Your mileage may vary. ... show more
