This is perfect for a teenage pool party..water resistant (not waterproof), fairly loud (but not too loud), great form factor, and best of all the LED light color changing effects which make this look super cool at night. My son loves this and his teenage friends all wanted to get one once they saw his lit up at night. I would say that the sound is not superlative, but the fun factor sure is and given that the sound is pretty good (might need a little more bass), this one is a definite hit for pool parties and also just for my kids doing homework in their rooms..so highly recommend for teenagers! ... show more

    • CONSTANTLY stops music and plays a repeating notification when battery is low!!!!!!
I do love the look of this speaker and the cool trippy iridescent lighting effects it does. I listened to it for about 2.5 hours the first day and then forgot and left it on overnight. The next afternoon I got about an hour of more play out of it before it's battery level got low. THAT'S WHEN THINGS GOT FREAKING IRRITATING. When the battery level is low, it begins an annoying notification sound every minute until you turn it off and charge it. I was in the pool trying to enjoy music, and yes I KNOW the battery is like 20%, SO WHAT. Just play my music and then die already. I just wanted it to keep playing my music until it was dead or until it decided to shut itself off. But every minute the music would mute, a notification tone would play, then the music would start playing again. It got so annoying that I turned off all notifications and sounds on my phone except for media. Thinking that would stop the constant interruption. NOPE, the speaker kept doing it regardless. I just so happened to have an external cell phone power bank with me. So, I connected it to the speaker to charge it, hoping it would silence the low battery notifications and just let me enjoy the last few minutes in the pool. That worked for about 10 minutes and then it started again. So my biggest complaint is that stupid constant low battery warning notification. So basically you can't even use the speaker for the last 20% of it's battery, it won't let you enjoy it I should say. So I feel like I'm being jipped out of 20% of the battery use. ... show more

First of all let's be honest this isn't the loudest speaker. With that outta the way we can talk about how great this little speaker is. For one it's mode where the lights dance to the audio is chefs 💋 awesomeness. I have gotten speakers that cost hundreds more and doesn't even have that. Lastly they did a wonderful job with the sound this puts out! Sharp clear never herd any distortion. They even have a custom sound when it turns or on off that makes me smile everytime! Not that random voice like every other speaker I tested I can't recommend this enough! Get it and enjoy it I hope they make bigger speakers like this also. ... show more
