I bought this over a year ago and use it for data entry (10-key by touch). It connects automatically and reliably, and it holds a charge for a noticeably long time. It’s a good product.

No problem setting up and connecting. You have to wake it up before you can use it, normal for a battery powered BT device. The snipping tool key is handy. If it doesn't type numbers, make sure your Windows "Mouse Keys" setting is turned off. The key labeled "clear" is really the backspace key. To type special characters using the Alt key, hold down Fn and Alt on your main keyboard at the same time and then type the numbers on the numeric keypad. For example Fn+Alt 241 types ±. Fn+Alt 0128 types €. I use Alt keys all the time for special characters. These manufacturers really need to include an Alt key if possible.

I gave this 5 stars because the product is excellent quality, syncs quickly and performs very well. I do have buyers regret, however, and will be buying a different ten key. It has nothing to do with quality, but with the chiclet style of keys. They do not give good tactile guidance (meaning feeling your finger centered on the key), which is vital for a ten key when your head is turned reading numbers and you need tactile accuracy without looking at the 10 key. Because these keys are flat, I cannot confirm my hand position by feel and therefore cannot turn my head too long, reach for keys above the 10 key, or work prolonged without checking my hand position and data entry. I am making a lot of input errors on this, solely because of the keyboard style. Again, this has nothing to do with quality. The quality is top notch. It's just the wrong key type feel for 10 key. It needs a more robust keybed with concave key tops. Too bad, because this really nice, very thin and easy to pack. UPDATE: Top-notch customer support. I did purchase another 10-key, but still keep this one in my laptop bag because it is so easy to travel with. I did encounter an issue with one of the keys. I contacted the vendor. They told me it has a 2-year warranty and took care of the issue right away, no problems at all and very easy to deal with. Really top-notch professional service. Still stand behind the 5-star review of this product, and based on this service, same feeling for the brand.

Whether you’re connecting this to a Mac or Windows platform, a lot of keys don’t work. You would need to remap them. This company contacted me directly to address the issue I posted in my original review. Customer Service went into high gear to correct the issue I was having with the number pad I had received. They immediately offered to replace the pad at no additional cost. I received the new pad in two days, and did not have to return the first one. I attached the pad to both an iMac and a Windows 11 system, which was very easy, and tested the pad for several hours. It worked perfectly. Customer Service remained in contact with me from start to finish and showed exceptional professionalism in ensuring I was satisfied with the end result. The pad looks good, is functional and the customer service incredible. I would definitely buy again if the need arose.

I bought this item when I knew I needed a better way to enter grades as an instructor. The laptop did not have a numeric keypad and sometimes you just need a little something to save a lot of time. This did it. I love the slant of it as well and the extra keys that it has. The calculator mode is BRILLIANT! Easy connectivity and I like that it is Bluetooth. I can put it right where my hand would normally move to. I did need to contact the company regarding an issue and I have NEVER had a faster more kind reply as well as oustanding customer service as I had with this company. I have had other instructors comment on my little keyboard as it being great to be portable and to ask how well it works (which it works great). For me this is perfect. Portable (where some teachers are using a whole keyboard and building stands and all the extras or taking more time to input grades) I just bring this great keypad when I need it.

I could not get this to pair with my Surface Pro device so I decided to return it and get a replacement. I could not pair that one either. A rep told me not to return either of them and gave me a credit for them. I threw them away after that conversation. Now, months later, my account was charged and I can not get anyone to reply to my messages to them so be warned when you order this and have issues.
