Hard to find anything better than BlueParrot. My B250XT lasted well over a decade. The previous model to this one still works, but doesn't mesh well with my newer cell phone and constantly looses connection. The receiver on the other end of your call can hear you clearly in hurricane style winds with the C400-XT. I've tried to find an in-ear bluetooth headset that would silence wind noise and finally surrendered returning to the BlueParrot brand. Wish I could leave 0 stars. Horrible product and worse support. Every 2-3 weeks or so, the 500-MX goes crazy. It constantly lowers the volume to just above 0. I have spoken with Blue Parrot on multiple occasions and the tech support is disgustingly bad. Their answer to everything is to hard reset the earpiece and reinstall the APP. Then it works for another 2-3 weeks and have to do it again. I spoke to a "would you like fries with that" level of technician and he totally blew me off. As a tech for over 40 years, I have recommended Blue Parrott many times. NEVER AGAIN.. DO NOT BUY ... show more

Updated 5/2/2024 I have this for about 2 weeks now and I have discovered some issues. Reduced to 3 stars due to these major issues. (1) The Blue Parrot button does not work. I followed instructions, downloaded the Android app, programmed the button to mute/unmute. It did nothing. Good thing I tested it first before using it on a real call. (2) There's suddenly a constant and very audible click about 1 second apart in the audio. Possibly from some type of interference. But I didn't have that issue with my old BlueParrot headset. (3) Does not work consistently when paired with multiple devices. I paired with my work laptop and personal phone. When I tried to use it with my phone, it shows as "connected for calls and audio" but neither the audio or the microphone works. Original review: I have used several BlueParrott in the past including B350-XT, B450XT. I was hesitant to get this more lightweight, less expensive version but it's working great so far. The audio is very clear. Noise cancellation works just as well as the other headsets. I have light music playing in the background and the other calls only hear my voice not the music. The only slightly negatives are old style USB connection instead of USB-C and perhaps long-term durability could be a problem but I just received the headset so I can't speak to that yet. ... show more

    • Would Not Recommend, Connection Issues

This device does not even come close to other brands. I bought this simply because it was the #1 pick after much testing by Wirecutter (New York Times), who I use all the time and have had great results. The device has connection issues, even when I disabled pairing with it on multiple devices (I had it paired as a BT device for both my phone and my laptop which I thought could be causing the issue). About 30% of the time the device will not connect or stay connecting causing me to have to answer the phone with buttons on the phone, then switch over to the BT device. Another connection it has is with its own IOS App. When I turn the BT device on/off I am reminded to "Install the Parrot App" which I've already done, and which recognizes the BT device, but won't communicate with it. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times now, but nothing. This means I cannot manage the BT device from the app. Battery life is okay and sound quality is okay, but people sound a little 'distant" compared to other BT devices I've used. Lastly, the volume level is pretty bad. In loud environments I can't hear my phone ring when I have the BT device in my ear. And, for some people with talk low, it is difficult to get the volume to a point I can hear them well. ... show more
