I love this laundry detergent refill. Bought blueland to decrease my plastic use. I love how this detergent looks in its cute little tin. The refill bag has some broken pieces but it’s nice to use the half pieces for smaller batches of laundry. There is no smell to it. Gets out stains pretty well!

I really like this. I found out that the pods are adding plastic to our water. I worried that these wouldn't work in cold water, they DO. I worried they wouldn't fully dissolve, I put one in the very bottom before clothes, no problem. Cheaper than the pods! I LOVE these! Yes, some are broken, but I just put some pieces in. Again, works and CHEAPER!

I've been searching for an eco-friendly replacement for my usual big plastic containers for a while now. I started with scented laundry sheets by another brand and didn't like the concept very much. The sheets sometimes didn't dissolve fully or just left tiny particles on the clothes which drove me NUTS :) I then decided to experiment with laundry tablets and came across this product. So far, I like the tablets. it's easy to use, and contrary to what I've read, the tablets arrived in almost-perfect condition. Of the entire container, there was only one tablet that was broken. The manufacturer actually added a note saying that because they know some tablets might break during packaging or shipment, they add 2 additional tablets per container for free. I didn't actually count to confirm this was true but I thought it was a nice gesture and action. So, at the end of the day, if they did in fact include 2 extra tablets, I got full quantity for what I had paid for. The tablets are very easy to use, dissolve completely, and so far from what I could tell, clean well. I do not however have small kids and haven't yet tested the tablets with really hard stains. With everyday dirt and stains (including hiking), they worked just fine. The one thing I regret is that the tablets only come in unscented option. I realize that this is a matter of preference and some people might actually prefer that. For me, it would have been nice to have a gentle/natural scent to it. It's definitely not the end of the world and I've been experimenting with adding a few drops of aromatic oils for fragrance. I appreciate the eco-friendly packaging and though I haven't yet ordered a refill, I'm pretty sure I will and hope that the tablets continue to perform and arrive whole in their packaging. It's a bit pricy when compared to standard laundry detergents (cost per load) but I'm guessing that you pay for what you get. Perhaps if/when eco-friendly detergents will become more mainstream, cost will go down. As a whole, I recommend this product and will continue to experiment with fragrance and different levels of stains.

I’ve been looking for plastic free natural laundry detergent finally found the perfect one. It comes in a pretty container that is refillable. There are no microplastics and that’s important to me. It also cleans your clothes perfectly and no scent either.

We have been using Blueland detergent for about a year now and I have been very happy with it. Powdered detergent has been a thing for a long time, but these tablets just make it so easy (when they are whole or even halves at least). In our machine, I have never found undisolved pieces after washing and my clothes always come out clean and fresh. I am very sensitive to smells and my skin gets irritated with some laundry additives, so detergents are one of the things I am very picky about. Up until now, we had always received the 2-60count bags inside of the brand boxes and yes, there were always a few broken tablets but never an excessive amount. Today, I received what's in the photo though and was really disappointed. Before switching to Blueland at the suggestion of my daughter, we had used Tide pods (free &gentle), we decided to make the switch to reduce our plastic use and because of the research on microplastics in the environment from detergents. We spend at least 2x as much for this change and it does make me wince every time I need to order more, but to me, it is worth it to do that little bit of change here and there... I guess it just hurts to feel as though I'm being played and I needed to share that before I started doing some laundry.

Before getting these tablets, I tried the echo, laundry sheets. They stuck together in damp weather, left soap, residue on my HE machine, and generally seem to leave residue behind on the clothing. when I got these tablets, I popped one in the bottom of my machine, and did a regular load. I was amazed at the cleaning power of one tablet, and I’m sold on the product.

This product seems to work well cleaning my clothes. I like the compact size of it, and I’ve had no problems with it dissolving in my machine. They suggest putting the tablet in the back of a front loading machine, and putting the tablet in first, which I do. My only annoyance is that this is the first time I had ordered it from Amazon, and when I open the box, one of the packages had been torn open already, and there were tablets everywhere. Many were crushed, and it was a mess. Clearly, it had been returned before, and they tried selling it to me (marketed as a new item). It was frustrating that I had to take the time to return it. The second package I received was fine. The product works great. There’s just a risk take ordering it from Amazon rather than from Blueland directly. I just didn’t want to have to pay for shipping because on the Blueland site, you need to have a $45 minimum before shipping is free. But then I had to spend extra time returning the first Amazon package.
