It's light weight but very durable. I was so surprised about the quality and it is not cheaply made at all. The dryer works as promised and dries my hair without any damage and it works very quickly! I have very thick and curly and corse hair, which would get damaged easily with other hair dryers, this has enough drying power to get it styled quickly and without any damage. The attachments are easy to use and don't fall off. The smaller compact size of the dryer makes it so easy to store and very very easy to pack in a suitcase. I have had a Dyson hairdryer in the past, and actually like this one much better. My daughter has used it one time and wanted to take it home. THAT WAS NOT HAPPENING!!
