    • Really nice and easy to install. Could be brighter though.
I replaced my kitchen overhead light with this, and I am happy with it. It was a breeze to install, just took a couple minutes and no sweat. It looks awesome and I love the nightlight feature. Be sure to hook it up with an LED compatible dimmer switch or you’ll be missing out. I’m not exactly thrilled with the brightness of this though. It has 3 options, warm white, medium, or bright white. The first two are far too dim to use in a kitchen. Even the bright white is lacking in the brightness department a bit. My old one was significantly brighter, and now I’m thinking about getting some under cabinet lights or something to make up for the sudden drop in overall light in the kitchen. My old one used three standard light bulbs, by the way, and to be fair, I did have some pretty bright LED bulbs in there. The way you are supposed to flip the switch off and on quickly in 5 seconds or less to activate the nightlight is super simple with a regular on/off switch, but it is kind of a pain with my setup. My dimmer switch has a pretty common safety feature where it fades the light off slowly instead of just cutting off abruptly. If I want to switch the light off and on in less than 5 seconds, I have to dim it all the way down first so it takes less time to fade off. I’ve got the hang of it already though, so not a big deal. Overall, I really like the look of this light and I will be keeping it. I imagine others will like it as well. It’s sleek and modern looking and attractive. The ease of installation, dimmability and outstanding nightlight feature are all reasons enough to overlook the slight dip in brightness, for me at least. I gave it 4 stars. ... show more

This fixture offers a nice variety of lighting features. But one quickly realizes the brightest is the most lacking- especially for the kitchen, which is where this was installed. This fixture has very nice presentation and features- except when cooking tasks are being pursued -especially in the evening- when light is crucial. This is a sleek and modern looking lighting fixture- most of its rewards feature strongly after you’ve prepared your meal… not so much during prep. Your mileage may be different. My kitchen windows- almost entire wall of windows- face north, and it’s wintertime- so a bit shadowy! if your kitchen is south facing, for example, you may get lots more light. Aside from that - for me- this is a nice sleek update for a kitchen fixture. ... show more

I plan to use this light at another house that I won't be visiting for a couple of months, so I haven't installed it yet. But I did connect a temporary power cord so that I could see how it works. And it works great. There is a distinct difference between the three color temperature levels (one of my photos shows the middle 4000K setting). And the night light works as advertised and makes a nice gentle, orange light. I took a photo showing that too. I plan to install this in a small hallway at the top of a steep set of stairs, and the night light will make that spot safer at night. The light is simple in design and should be very easy to install. I like that it has a small wire tether to hold it to the ceiling while you finish the wiring. The light comes packed in a thin, minimal box. The light inside the box is wrapped in tight plastic shrink wrap which should help keep it from getting scratched. Aside from that, there's no extra padding which probably isn't needed considering how simple the design is - there's really nothing to break on this.     • Very nice light and plenty bright enough!
So I was really hoping that you could switch the light color through a wall switch but sadly is not the case without modification as you have to unscrew the light fixture and then you have three color settings which I knew before I requested the item but I have had lights that can switch color and brightness through a wall switch and still had this switch on the inside. Not a big deal as I am using this in a bathroom and I just said it to the middle light color which isn't too warm and isn't too cool of a light color. The white output is very nice quality and is very nicely diffused so it is easy and soft on your eyes and lights up everything evenly! This fixture works very good as a night light as well. Came decently packaged and in my testing with accurate instruments was able to draw 20 watts on the. Which is completely acceptable for a 24-watt light! Light doesn't get hot and doesn't flicker or have any delays which is always nice and hopefully this light should last a very long time because it seems like a very nice quality fixture. If you are in the market for one then this is very appropriately priced and you will not be disappointed. 5 stars!! ... show more

    • Great versatile light
I really like this light. The switchable output from warm to natural to bright can be set before you install it on the mount and you can switch from center light to a dimmable night light outer ring just by toggling the light switch off and on within 5 seconds. The night light is beautiful and leaves the area washed in golden yellow hues. The main bracket is a disk with four slots to accommodate any standard box, has a large center hole to bring in the feed wires, has three large cam lobes to engage the light's main body and has a molded in tab to allow the light to hang by a built in support cable while you are connecting the wires. There is plenty of space for the wires between the bracket and body as long as you flatten the wire nutted main feeds against the bracket. You don't need to disconnect the support cable as you can just rotate the wire and cable as you lock the fixture onto the bracket. The finished look is sleek and unobtrusive and the performance is impressive for the price. ... show more

I love how bright this LED flush mount ceiling light is even at its lowest setting 3000K Warm White. I used it to replace an old dull globe light in the small hallway leading to the rooms at the back of the house and what a difference. It was a bit troublesome to install, due to not being provided with a mounting plate so I had to use the one from the old fixture. Once installed, it was worth the effort. I like that that the light is dimmable as I will be purchasing a dimmer to use with it since it is bright enough. This light is modern, sleek, and updated the hallway.
