Very effective as a video doorbell and a surveillance devices. I’m using 5 cams around my place and a few inside. Thé AI warns you of unusually activities. You can link it to an early warning and ask for security intervention in realtime. Great product that does not need external power for years!

System is busy or no video recorded. Tired of watching the little spinning circle. How to change all of them in color? It's a sunny day. Didn't say anything about b&w videos. Everything is hooked up right. This is Not yet ready for primetime. Have the sound turned off to the camera's and it still picks up sounds. Agh. Been using Feit cameras and my old ones work. Just trying to update them. The Feit system software is so much better. Blinks sucks. Can Not get these on a single page with live views. So many false announcements. And every time I click on a camera... Guess what - System is busy again. It is so slooooow. Also took around 2 weeks to get them. Going back....

I like Blink products in general, and this new video doorbell + outdoor camera system has better image quality than the older generation. Setup is quick, the battery life is great, and the head-to-toe view is a nice upgrade. But I really miss the old Sync Module with the USB port for easy local storage. The new core version feels more limited in that way. Overall, still a solid security setup, just wish they kept the USB local storage option.
