After reading other reviews, one thing to consider is to super glue the slide protectors to the bottoms of the ladder and to the top of the slanted sides. Having said that, I was delighted at how sturdy and well thought out the ladder was designed. I had no trouble putting it together once it was laid out on my bed so I didn’t have to get on the floor. The spacing of the “steps” gives plenty of room for quilts to be folded and displayed. It is good value for the money and I really like the white wood look. When my ladder arrived it only had one accurate side piece. The other side was not cut to specs. I notified the company and they were wonderful…. Sent me a whole new ladder. Now that’s CUSTOMER SERVICE. I even received an email to be sure it arrived. I would order from Relodecor again.

I am 78 and not good at most assembly. This ladder came together like a dream. It was a little heavy, but I have been able to move it around. It does not fit behind the bedroom door as I had hoped. One odd thing is the the legs are cut at an angle so that the bottom is moved out from the wall. The top is also cut at an angle, but they don't match. It is not a problem, but it seems odd. It holds a dozen shawls if you stack them.

I make a lot of quilts (mostly to give away) so the cabinet I keep them in got too full. A friend had an old ladder that her husband had refinished for her and her quilts look great on it, so I decided to get one. I hesitated on getting this one because the photo shows the hinges as black (on the white ladder). I figured I could just paint the hinges if I needed to, so I bought this one. The hinges are white and don't show unless you look for them. Putting it together was pretty hard until I went & got my power drill to screw in the nails. Got it all together in about an hour. It stands away from the wall about 21" which was a bit farther than I thought it would so I had to change my intended location. This ladder is very sturdy for it's intended use and I'm happy I got it.

I almost love this ladder which I use for holding quilts and blankets. I could really love it if the black rubbery protective pieces would stay on. It was a nice surprise that 4 of these pieces were included to protect my wall and the floor from scratches. But the adhesive does not keep them on the wooden ladder legs, so my ladder ends up right back on my floor. I have reattached them multiple times and repositioned the ladder, but it just slips off again. Fortunately, the ones on the top seem to stay in place to protect my wall.
