The media could not be loaded. We purchased four blinds and two already have failed. The internal wires no longer retract all the way leaving the blinds hanging partway down. When they do work they look nice and are great at blocking out the light, but hard to recommend due to the longevity of the pully mechanism. Unfortunately, I am outside my refund window and cannot find any warranty information on these blinds. UPDATE: Very satisfied as Customer Service reached out quickly and was able to offer a replacement! Great customer service and would recommend!

I went with this color to match warm tones from the room's pale yellow walls and light wood framing. But was I successful?? You be the judge! I quite like the different aesthetics the shades create throughout the day and in different indoor/outdoor lighting scenarios; personally, I found the "light filtering" variant necessary to accomplish this, but you may prefer an opaque shade to reduce incident sunlight for lower costs, or if you are a creature of the shadows. Vampires have needs too. INSTALLATION: Straightforward, requires a drill. I opted to use longer screws, but you can also drill thinner holes for more shear surface area. The shorter screws that are provided with the shade will suffice, nonetheless. The shade also comes with a plastic tab that snaps on to the bottom rail to make it easier to raise and lower. MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION: Probably should be dusted every now and then... but I will not judge you. Of note: I have had my shades up for four months, and in that time, they have lost some of their elasticity due to the ravages of Old Man Gravity. I think this is called plastic stress or deformation, and it appears to be unavoidable. It makes the shades more difficult to raise and lower. MISCELLANEOUS: Seller was very helpful and accommodating! Reasonably high quality materials and production for the price. Packaged well, and arrived in perfect condition. If you like how snugly my shades fit the portal in the pictures, I measured very carefully and so should you! (I mean measure YOUR window portal, not mine, you weirdo) The shades are available in different widths, and these are quite precise--my window portal is 80" across, so I decided on 2x39 = 78"... somewhat nervously. I got 78" as listed!

Very easy to install. Well built. Blocks out a ton of heat and does an excellent job of darkening the room. Pulls down and goes up with ease. Honestly better built and less expensive than the high end shades found at the big home improvement stores. We are super satisfied.

I really like the look, operation, and ease of install for these blinds. After reading the reviews I thought I would give them a try. I was not disappointed! I ordered the 34" x 64". Each blind came with 2 mounting brackets, screws, and anchors. For the inside mount, I used 1 screw per bracket, then snapped the blind into place (that simple). It literally took me less than 3 min for each install. Once installed, they were easy to operate and they look very nice with my décor. I initially purchased the light defusing blinds. I like them so much that went on to order the blackout blinds. The blackout blinds, with an inside mount, reduced the amount of light in the room by at least 85%. This works for me considering that there is 1/2" of play on each side of the blind. I would definitely recommend.

These blinds are good for short-term use, but they likely will not hold up for more than a year or two, in my opinion. The mechanism that allows you to raise the blinds is cheaply made and struggles to reel in the string that supports lift. I’ve purchased Levelor double cell blackout blinds for a previous home and those were made to last. But the price was 3X what these cost. When these break in a couple of years, as I feel confident they will, they will go into the bin and whoever is renting this place will have to buy new ones. With Levelor, the mechanism comes with a life time warranty, which I had to use on one occasion. In sort, these blinds look nice, came in at the right size and color, and are functioning mostly as designed. If I owned my current residence I would not buy these, I would buy a higher quality. EDIT 8/14/22 Lowered rating from 4 stars to 3 stars because the mechanism for raising the blinds is awful. I would not purchase these blinds again. Spend a bit more and go to Home Depot or Lowes and get proper cordless blinds. 10/3/2022 EDIT: These blinds are not cheap. True they are cheaper than Levelor, but they will not go completely up. They mechanism to retract the cord appears to be inferior. I would not recommend these blinds to anyone. Like so much stuff on the market, it appears to be junk quality with deceptive marketing. Again, spend a few extra dollars and get Levelor or another quality brand with a Lifetime Guarantee!

Originally bought one of these to put in my rambunctious toddlers room. I didn’t want anything with cords. I was a bit nervous when I bought it because I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I love it! So easy to install. And it filters out so much light, noise, and heat. We are in Texas and the afternoon sun normally blasts into my son’s room, but this keeps it out and keeps the room much cooler. We loved it so much, we bought another one for my other children’s room, and I’m buying two more for my room as well. One thing I would say is to get it a little longer than the window. I got it the exact dimension and it doesn’t sit on the window sill, it slightly hovers over, letting in a little extra light. But that was my own fault. I would definitely recommend this!
