Features

  • SILKY SMOOTH COLORING! The buttery, smooth tips of these colored pencils practically purr across the page of your favorite adult coloring book or drawing. The soft, wax points lay down color evenly for beginners to fine artists with very little pressure or friction - even on delicate paper. These pencils are water soluble and are not meant to be used as watercolors
  • VIBRANT COLORS WITHOUT DUPLICATES! 24 vivid colors, shades and hues in this set. Colors like Venom, Purple Haze and Blood Diamond are pre-sharpened ready to pop off the page. Every color pencil is labelled with a clever name and number code on the barrel, and theres a convenient color chart inside the lid of the tin packaging.
  • RICH PIGMENTS THAT BLEND AND LAYER LIKE VELVET! These coloring pencils have a wax core which means they blend, shade and layer seamlessly without smudging or strain. The deep, rich pigments result in a creamy, velvet finish and blend beautifully even on black paper.
  • PENCIL CORE DOESNT BREAK WHEN SHARPENED! The soft wax core and tips of these art colored pencils dont crumble and break when sharpened or when pressing down to extract darker shades when blending. This means less sharpening is needed, so the tips of your colored pencils stay sharp longer.
  • COMFORTABLE TO HOLD AND COOL TO DISPLAY! The sleek barrel of these colored pencils is Black Widow black, which adds elegance and a touch of cool to your art supplies. The hexagon shape means the pencil is more comfortable in your hand for drawing, needs less pressure for the colors to lay down and best of all, they wont roll off your drawing table.

  • 1/6/2022 AWESOME SOFT CORE PENCILS
Update 1/6/2022 I’ve purchased and used the NEW DRAGON SET! I’m not disappointed, they are the same outstanding quality as the other sets. These pencils have proven they are a stiff contender with other artists level sets. There’s no denying these pencils are a MUST OWN. Please do not let the issues with Amazons shipping reflect on your opinion as that is not anything the seller can control. Every set I’ve got has showed up perfect with zero damage and no broken leads. I’ve seen some post images of that and I’ve never had that happen. The seller is 120% easy to talk to, so I suggest you reach out if you got a bad set. They will bend over backwards for the customers … I want to give an honest review so others can make the best decisions on pencil choices.. First I’m just a regular person who bought the full set including skin tones & new monarch set.. A MUST OWN SET 🥰🥰 Honest -most people will find these workable and enjoyable no matter your level of artistic skill. A must own !!!! Onto pencils.... Whoever said these are soft like PRISMA premier are mistaken. ( these are soft but different in a good way) Not taking away from anyones comparison but they just are not as creamy. But they are buttery, smooth &!highly blendable they are a nice softness. They have that midline soft, creamy but firm core we all seek out. So, don’t get me wrong these are GREAT but these are not in that super soft league of pencils. These fall in between Arteza, black widows and PRISMA & polychromos level of softness and layering ability. I believe these are that perfect middle we strive for. BRIGHT & UNIQUE COLORS ARE AWESOME !!! These pencils do have a level of fantastic colors with rich pigment and they are a PERFECT SET OR addition to your PRISMA set or Arteza set or other wax based set. SOFTNESS/BLENDING/CORE STRENGTH The cores are a bit harder not in how they lay down but in how they handle, sturdy, will sharpen to a nice point and you can apply more pressure and still have the buttery lay down without breaking the lead or a huge wax bloom. I do notice some minor dusting but this is expected, it’s still a pencil after all :) Blending these was easy and easily blended with my PRISMA premier set and Arteza set they play very well with each other adding POP and depth to my Pictures... COST -THE BIGGEST POINT NEXT TO APPLICATION For around 120.00 you can get all of the tins including the skin tones - so these rank right up up there with PREMIUM PRICE but well worth it !! They do break these out in sets for affordability. So, you can buy sets as you go instead of all at once, which is a nice aspect. And each set is unique no repeat colors..🥰 The tins are nice but most of us don’t use these for long term we put them in easier access containers or cases. So if I were to suggest anything it would be ship these in a pencil case that holds all 144 colors and then sell replacement color family kits in tins. A thought . Maybe add a breakdown of colors for sale such as reds/browns, blues/grays etc.... replacement tins of color families would be great.. All in all I will keep these and see how they perform long term, I’m happy with the performance and softness These are right in that happy middle.. You won’t be disappointed in quality and lay down ... show more

  • UPDATE: Great customer service. Love the pencils & unique colors
I purchased all the Black Widow, Cobra, & Scorpion pencils. I enjoy coloring in adult coloring books & am always looking for pencils to supplement the pencils I already have. I started w/ inexpensive pencils by Artist Loft, Marco Raffine, Staedler, & a small, basic Prismacolor set. But, I wanted the ability to shade & blend which I find difficult w/ those brands. So, I saved my money until I could afford the full Prismacolor Premier set & later, the full Farber Castell Polychromos set. I read a lot of reviews on these & decided to give them a shot. All sets arrived separately. The tins were wrapped in plastic wrap that was not taped properly on any of the tins. The tins were then in light packing envelopes & then in manila shipping envelopes. All 3 tins were open with pencils loose in the envelopes when they arrived. Many of the pencil tips were broken. I wasn't happy. But, I decided to try the pencils. Well, I am so glad I tried them & didn't just return them right away. The colors are all quite unique. Which is only worth it if they perform well. They are creamy, well pigmented, apply smoothly, & blend/shade really well. They are similar to the way Prismacolor Premier pencils perform. To be clear, they are not the same quality as Prismacolors. But, they are no where near as expensive. I find Polychromos are a harder pencil & don't blend/shade as well as the Prismacolor Premiers & the Black Widow pencils. These pencils perform much better than what the price would lead you to expect. I absolutely love them. They are a great addition to my pencils collection. If you can't afford a set of Prismacolor Premiers, get these pencils. I tend to compare any pencils to the Prismacolor Premiers because they are my favorite. These pencils aren't Prismacolors; but, they're really nice. They'd be great for experienced or beginner artists and would make great gifts. You can get the Black Widow set in a cardboard box. Don't do it. Those pencils have thinner cores & were more prone to breaking from what I discovered when researching these. The seller improved the pencils & they now come in tins w/ the color names on the pencils & a color chart on the inside of the tin's cover. UPDATE: I don't usually contact a seller. But, didn't want the problem with packaging to prevent people from purchasing these pencils. I just think these pencils are so superior to other inexpensive sets like Marco Raffines, which I hate. I wanted the seller to know that there was a problem w/ the packaging since all 3 sets arrived damaged. The seller contacted me the same day, apologized for the condition of the pencils, & sent me codes so I could purchase the sets again. It ended up costing me 17 cents per set. Sometimes the codes didn't work. I let the seller know, & he sent more codes. The seller responded quickly & worked w/ me to ensure I got new, undamaged sets. The customer service could not be better with this seller. This time, all the tins were taped securely shut, wrapped in clear plastic, & inside a manila shipping envelope. None were placed in a white packing envelope before being placed in the manila envelope. But, it didn't matter, the tins stayed tightly shut & every pencil was perfect. ... show more
