This would be true of other brands, but w iphone 13, to reach buttons you must clamp off center. Requires frequent retightening at just below phone for preventing rotation. Ball clamp is solid. Legs good. Good value given cost for casual photo use.

We use these to shoot video for our YouTube channel and it’s hard to beat for use outdoors and it’s portability. We’ve wrapped the legs around limbs, boards, and even rifle scopes. Also great as a typical tripod. Can be mounted horizontally or vertically as it has a match built in to orient camera. 5 stars especially for the price! ... show more

I find the 10.6 inch tripod to be the perfect size for my backpack and it's light enough to carry with me all the time... never know when the need may pop up for a group photo or a nature shot. I use it mostly as a traditional tripod although you can also wrap it around things. It firmly supports my new Pixel 5a 5G and a Sony Alpha a6000 with ease. Although the remote is a necessary given, this one looks like it'll take my frequent abuse, lol, and it even comes with a battery already in place. ATUMTEK has beefed up the swivel mount as compared to one of their earlier tripods (which I will now give to my niece). For an accessory in this price range, this tripod mount is very well constructed. And if it breaks, you're covered by its lifetime warranty. Took it on a hike and tried to get a group shot.. stand worked great on I level surface, but the remote would work when I was right by it, but it would not work once I got in the group shot.. I tested it again at home and sometimes it would work, and sometimes not..
