After ordering about 4 other headsets previously, I finally found one that is actually a wireless gaming headset that works with consoles. While the other headsets required use of 3.5mm audio jacks, which had to be plugged into the console controls, (if they did in fact, have an audio plug installed), this headset actually connects directly to the console, using a wireless Bluetooth USB-A dongle (included with the headset). The headset has a removable microphone that can be detached when not needed. (as someone who doesn't do a lot of multi-player, I usually just leave it detached when playing). The microphone port is located at the bottom of the left earpad. There are a set of buttons/dials on the left-hand side of the headset, including Power, EQ, and ?? buttons. A volume control dial is located on the backside of the left earpad, as well. The USB-C charging port is located at the bottom of the right earpad. The sound quality is admittedly not the best I have experienced. There are occasionally audible pops and crackles that are noticeable while playing. It's not so bad that I can't follow along with the gameplay, but it's certainly apparent when it happens. I've also noticed some issues with the device charging. Having left the headset connected to a charging cable for a couple hours (even overnight at times), I've found that when I put on the headset and power it on, it cuts out shortly afterwards, and the power light is red, indicating it needs to be charged. It's as though it had not been charging at all while it was plugged in, even though I visually verified it was in fact charging before hanging the headset on its stand. This has happened on multiple occasions and is quite frustrating. I do not know if this is caused by a faulty charging connector, or if the battery sensor is just not correctly calibrated. I find this headset generally does what it's supposed to, and works more or less as advertised, but for the two issues I mentioned (audio quality and not charging) I can't rate this as highly as I otherwise might. (Strange aside, but when I clicked on the item link from my product review, I found it doesn't take me to the page for this headset, but rather a pair of Black Shark wireless earbuds instead). ... show more

The only thing this headset has going for it is the comfort. I did not think the sound quality was great and they are certainly not noise canceling. But for a run of the mill set of headphones, you could do worse. I did like how long the mic was. No one had any trouble hearing me that's for sure.
