All the parts I needed for sons BMX

This will work great for my sons BMX bike. Old parts were worn and bearings started to fall out. This kit came with everything for the lower crank except for grease. I installed everything with simple hand tools. Working good so far.

Better than expected

I decided to wait to do this review until I put a few miles on these bearings. For the price I figured they'd get the job done, but I wasn't expecting much. They are obviously of better quality than what originally came from the manufacturer of the bike. Everything seems to fit better than OEM, and feels to be thicker gauge metal. Riding with these bearings made it feel like a whole new bike. I do occasionally ride in the rain, so I imagine in the long term I'll see a benefit from having this sealed bearing set. I'll likely update this review in time to report on how good I think the bearing stay protected from the elements. The only think I think should be noted is that the set is all black unlike shown in the picture. I can't imagine why it would actually matter, but if for some reason you want everything to be silver you'll need to keep looking.

Great kit to repair my son's bike! (worked for this 3 piece crank)

I had to remove the old cups with a hammer and screw driver. New cups installed easily enough with a hammer and block of wood to hammer them in to place. Greased up the bearings and got everything put back together. Perfect kit to repair this! Only complaint is I had issues getting the seals line up correctly once installed but definitely not a deal breaker.

Best '1-piece crank' bracket set I've seen. Great design, even better price. The parts are made with really good quality metal, and I'm pretty sure it fits most if not all BMX bike frames. For sure a great buy.

better than average

I used this to replace the bb in my 1983 Schwinn Predator. It worked perfectly, but the "sealed" mechanism is and it isn't. It's the same as a basic non sealed bb, but they added this plastic grommet the goes between the bearing ring and the rest of the assembly. It works to an extent, but note the after time and friction that grommet will wear out and start to protrude from the assembly. You'll have to replace it at that point. I've been using mine for six months and I have not had to replace it yet.
