    • Easy listening throwback sound
First of all, the ugly album cover in NO way reflects the sound of this group. I’m a middle age, lifelong country and western music fan, but I decided to search for something newer than the 70’s, or King George. I detest the Bro era, and the more recent snap track stuff, so Nashville is out, and narrowed my search to Texas bands. I took a chance with this album based on the reviews and in spite of the cover photo. I’m VERY pleased with this album! I’m old enough that it’s not that “retro,” but it does rewind the sound to the 80’s while also bringing a refreshing new perspective that’s very enjoyable. I like all 13 tracks enough to just let them play. That’s rare for me. If you enjoy easy listening toe-tapping music that sounds NOTHING like the junk being forced over the airwaves today, it’s a well spent ten bucks. I wish this band all the best for a bright future. Another Great Country band from Texas, what can I say, and there are so many!! In fact l, there are quite a few Great Country bands from all over the country now!! Somethings going on!! Ha, ha, enjoy this one and all of Midland. Great dance music too for you Country dancers out there!! 😊🕺💃

What can I say about this album? It has everything a real country fan would ever want. On the rocks is a musical masterpiece that deserves to be heard on pressed vinyl. The vocals, instruments, and overall tone all come together nicely resulting in a fantastic record. Speaking of vinyl, mine arrived quickly and in excellent condition.
