This was a great half link BMX chain, for the given price point. I generously won’t take off rating points for a defective chain breaker, since I luckily had some extra (better) ones on hand. I also didn’t use the included “master” pin. I typically run full link chains, but happened to get a frame with super short chain stays and dropouts. Because of this, I either had to have my rear wheel hub axle near the ends of the frame dropouts. It was either that, or I had to “slam” my full link chain with my sprocket and hub driver. I highly recommend to NOT slam a chain/wheel, as doing so absolutely gouges up the teeth of your sprocket and hub driver teeth… Also, running the chain so tight, will prematurely stretch the chain, and wear out the rear wheel hub driver bearings. ... show more

The first time out riding after installing this chain(correctly) it snapped in the middle of a power pedal while crossing the road causing me to fall headfirst into the asphalt in front of mid day traffic causing my headphone to explode in my ear and embed itself into my head.

Don't let the low price compared to something like the Shadow brand halfink chains fool you, this is a solid chain made by a brand that has been around much longer than Shadow conspiracy and has a great reputation! This chain is made by and stamped 'KMC' and is very high quality! The included chain tool isn't the best but it does get the job done. Save some coin and purchase this chain instead of Shadow. ... show more

I do have 2 small quirks however the first being the clipper guards could be better quality because I used it once and it's already broken just the tab that hold it in places and the second the battery life is awful..... Not happy at all about that but they last about an hour max maybe a little longer which is enough time for me to shave and trim my beard, cut and shape up my hairline
I would leave higher review because I literally have the exact same chain just needed a replacement but the chain tool that came with it upset me very badly 😤😤 it's so cheap it stripped preventing me from putting the chain on😤 currently still haven't installed the chain because the chain tool is useless I can't take out any links to get the length right because it won't push the pins through😩 ... show more

The install is a bit hard but I’m new to half link chains but I put the chain under stress I went up steep hills did a bunch of trick I could to put tension on the chain and overall not bad for my first half link chain
