Ordered tall white metal glass front cabinet for our hot garage to store extra china and christmas dishes. It took almost two hours to assemble by one professional. Our handyman said it is of good quality in material and construction. Although it stands securely on thin carpet, our handyman anchored it to the cement wall to prevent any tipping over by unfoteseeable vibration. The four metal shelves are easy to install. They rest upon metal tabs whose edges prevent shelves from moving about. This handsome metal cabinet looks like wood. We appreciate all of its features, but wished that it had feet instead of resting flat upon the floor. Only because if the area ever became wet, there will be a lack of ventilation for drying out. Even so, we shall purchase another because of its many positive features including a key that secures all contents. Hope this review is helpful.

I was pretty excited when I saw the UNICOLY Metal Night Stand (White). Why, you ask? Metal.... At the $60, you typically only see flat-pack MDF furniture, so I was curious to see how the UNICOLY was actually made. Unsurprisingly, the stand arrived as a flat-pack package. Everything was packaged well, and none of the panels sustained any damage in shipping. The part labeling and instructions are clear. Assembly takes about 5 minutes (I'm not a speedrunner when it comes to assembling anything). A screwdriver is included, though I didn't use it. Frankly, I was shocked at the lack of fasteners. You use a couple self-tapping sheet metal screws to attach the sides to the back. The front does not have any fasteners, and instead relies on being held in place with the drop-in shelves. The top slides (slotted tabs) on and is held on with bend-up tabs. More self-tapping screws attach brackets to the bottom corners, and the feet screw into tapped holes in the brackets. The feet don't have a ball joint for leveling, so the unit may not be perfect on a hard flooring surface. The magnetic door closure is clever, while the knob is really cheesy (though easily replaced, if desired). My stand is going to be the base for one of my smaller FDM printers. It would perfectly at home in a WFH office, assuming your decor is more Target, than SteelCase. All in all, the UNICOLY is interesting to me. After all, it manages all-metal construction at a surprisingly low price point. As long as you compare it to MDF furniture at (or near) the same price, you'll be happy with your selection. Update: I creased/dented the top of this stand when I put a CORSAIR 3500X case on it. Mind you, the case was not yet loaded out with a PSU, mobo, GPU, etc., so it was only about 20 pounds. The case has feet, and the stand immediately showed denting where two of the feet sit. I didn't set it down as gently as possible, but I didn't drop the case, either. This doesn't really change my opinion of the stand, but I thought I'd mention this for anyone that wants to put anything heavy (or with higher point loading) on top of this. Recommended

I bought this cabinet to store/display our legos and it worked perfectly for what we needed. It came in a large, very well wrapped box and none of the pieces were damaged. It wasn’t too difficult to put together and everything was labeled correctly. There is also a video you can follow for instructions. I would recommend having 2 people at times to help hold and balance the sides while screwing it together. Also! Something to note is that it has to anchored to the wall! Over all I’m glad we went with this shelf and I love how it came out! The black metal with gold handles was the perfect asthetic look we were going for and I’m already planning on purchasing another one to put side by side with this one!

This took about an hour to assemble- the video was easier than the instructions. I would recommend having a second person to help. It wasn’t all that bad, but some screws were difficult to screw in and pieces are big requiring someone to hold it steady. This is basically a big locker, yes, like from high school. It’s that kind of metal material. It’s definitely not cheap feeling and seems pretty sturdy and strong. Aesthetically very pleasing and appears as expected. I love the gold handle and the look of the final product. The one caution I have is that I did not realize that it really HAS to be anchored to the wall. It was borderline falling over before being put into the wall. Also, anchoring to the wall was difficult. If you have trim/baseboard, it makes it so the anchor screws aren’t long enough to reach the wall. We ended up using a piece of scrap wood in the back that I will paint the color of the wall.

My husband and I compared wood material and metal material, and finally chose metal material for a long-term use because we decided to put the cabinet in the basement. Back to the cabinet, the glass was solid and all the materials were labeled. We laid everything out and had no challenge to put them together. small tip for you guys: Using a electric screwdriver can save your time.

Although it's possible to assemble this cabinet without a drill, the instructions suggest using one for optimal results. We encountered an issue with the order of the steps, which led us to insert a panel prematurely, causing some damage when we had to remove it. I'm confused as to why the seller markets it as a nightstand since it resembles a gym locker more than anything else. We’ve repurposed it as a workbench storage solution, using it to hold supplies and adding some magnetic storage accessories for extra organization.

The dents are a problem, less so with scratches and dings, however, all they will do is credit you $20 so if you can't take the dents out yourself or live with them you are out of luck. Amazon did resolve this issue. On the big plus sided, the glass doors on the front are very nice looking and the front of the unit presents well. All of screws are cheap Chinese screws so they strip easily and are way too short to assemble easily. Tough call as to whether you should buy it or not.
