We live in Florida and have a dozen bottles on hand for hurricane season. AFTER ONE YEAR THIS PUMP WORK EXTREMELY WELL FOR ME, BUT NOT AT FIRST USAGE. The problem was this: The end of the hose that goes into the 5 gallon bottle has a little plastic devise that does absolutely nothing, but I suspect it is meant to add weight to the end of hose. Therefore, the end of the hose may not sink to the bottom as intended THERE FOR IT IS SUCKING AIR INSTEAD OF THE WATER. YOU MUST GET THE END OF THE HOSE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE. Go to Home Depot and purchase a brass EVERBILT 1/4" hose barb adapter 653 729 LFA-197 for $4.17. Remove the white plastic end of hose devise and insert this brass adapter TO GIVE THE END PIECE THE WEIGHT NEEDED SO THAT IT SINKS TO THE BOTTOM INSTEAD OF FLOATING ON TOP OF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOTTLE. MY 8YR. GRANDSON DID THE TRANSITION. FOLKS, OTHER THAN THAT CHEAP FIX, IT'S A VERY GOOD PRODUCT, VERY EFFICIENT/CONVENIENT, GOOD FLOW, AND THE GRANDKIDS LOVE IT. THEY SAY IT'S A BIG NOISY, BUT SO IS A DISHWASHER OR REFRIGERATOR WHEN IN OPERATION MODE. I'D BUY IT AGAIN.

I have currently tried 3 water dispensers so far. This dispenser is the best! The first one had too many parts, that when some broke, I had no way of replacing. The second one leaked constantly. They also were not tall enough for my 64 ounce water bottle or I had to click the button at least 3 times to fill entire bottle. This one is a little bit more expensive than the others I bought, but entirely worth it. It checks all the boxes the others didn’t. Even better, I used to have to thread water tube from gallon on ground up to my dresser. This dispenser is tall enough that I can have it on top of gallon and it’s easy enough for me to reach. 10/10 & I also love that I can just place cup on button and it dispenses without me clicking anything.

I've had a hand pump for a while, and while that will be great when there's no power, it takes forever to get large amounts of water. This works really well and I love the platform trigger. Easy to assemble, easy to keep clean, holds a decent charge. Only time will tell if it'll hold up to daily use, but so far it was worth the money.
