This sat in the box unused for 8 months. there is a hose packed in the box that is folded 4 times to fit inside the box. Upon opening, it opened with no kinks! After putting on the charger, started pumping from 5 gal container. Item fits both square and round top 5 gallon container from walmart -which is a unique size that is hard to find other products to pump water. pumps works great - only had to tilt container for very last drops at bottom. Gravity drainage slows down when as the water comes out of the container, but this pumps keeps a constant flow throughout the entire bottle. Speed is fast enough to fill a small water bottle, yet not too strong that it would over spray a coffee cup. While I only used it so far to pump two 5 gallon containers, the pump is still going strong, not requiring a re-charge. There is a blue seal that comes with the pump that seals to top when using the pump - it has a hole in it to run the hose. The spray output comes out at a 45% angle, which is perfect to fill small bottles-resting your hand on the edge of the 5 gal container. The switch is on top and operates moving forward-backward, so the user doesn't push up-down to turn on the device; preventing one from pushing the pump off the 5 gal container. I'm really impressed this device! Well worth the cost!

Better price if you order 2 or more. Came with a good charge. Still on the charge that came with it, and have almost finished with the 2nd 5 gallon jug. With the cap that came with the pump on the bottle the pump sets on the bottle pretty stable. I like the slide switch and it is the only one I have seen that has a slide switch, as there have been reports of the momentary switches used on others triggering automatically and creating a mess and wasting the water. There have been reports of this pump and others the USB socket pulling out. One solution to this problem might be to not remove the usb cable. Having bought 2 I charge one and use one so I can switch them out when one drains down (1 is none, and 2 is one). They do work with the charge cable plugged in and charging. They have a good strong pump and it doesn't take long to fill up a 1 liter bottled water container, as an example, maybe 20 secs at most. Also I like the silicon hose better than the plastic solid tubes as it is easier to get most the water out of the container when they get empty, and you don't have to worry about them separating at the joints as my old manual pump solid tubing would do. The hose does not have a problem with kinking so far either. Overall a great buy if they last, but I suspect most the problems with these are the usb connection, not just pulling out, but just becoming loose would be just as fatal. Will be fun to do a post mortem on one if one quits and see if it can be fixed. Replacing the USB connector with a barrel type power adapter socket might be a good repair / upgrade, though that would require a usb to barrel plug at the very least (not as handy as a usb micro cord for sure, but a lot more robust), and you could then also use a direct from power source adapter too. Probably $5 (@ buying 2 plus) of parts in / with one of these. And for that kind of money if it lasted you over a camping trip you would have got your $5 worth.

We needed this for our camping trips and it works like it should. We used a 5 gallon and 3 gallon jug. The battery life lasted our 3 day trip off of one charge. It installed easily and stayed fitting both jugs. It seems durable but time will tell. Water quality taste the same as it is in the jug.

Easy to setup and no longer need to rent a cooler and pay maintenance fee to have cooler serviced. I love this dispenser. It charges easily and quickly and has saved me money. I wish I had known about this sooner. I use this upstairs in my home. No need to rent a second cooler for upstairs.

Update: after less the 6 months it no longer works. It was great at first, but now it won't charge and is useless. I was getting tired of buying individual bottle waters and then of having to throw all those empty water bottles. I have a water cooler dispenser, but it no longer works and I was not willing to spend over $100 on a new one. I'm so glad I found this pump dispenser. It is easy to use, water comes out perfectly, and it's so inexpensive. The only issue is you have to charge it about every two weeks. I completely forgot that you need to charge it and thought it broken and was no longer functionable, thankfully I remembered it needs to be charged. It doesn't take too long to charge back up and it was working like new. I recommend this if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a water cooler/dispenser and are tired of buying water bottles. This is probably one of the best items I've ever purchased.

While this product works, it's not a good piece overall. Firstly, the silicone has an unpleasant aftertaste. It does not fit snugly on the bottle, creates a lot of noise, and the dial is somewhat difficult to switch. This means you have to hold the cup in one hand while trying to keep the device in place to close it.
