I work facility maintenance in the high Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I figured if these gloves are good enough for ice climbing than they will be good enough to work on a roof top HVAC unit at -30F. When I first received them they felt way too tight and I ordered a size larger than the size chart. I started a return on them but my more intelligent wife said they are leather and will stretch to your hands so give them a chance. My drive to work is about a 5 minute drive and then I get into another cold truck and spend about 20-30 minutes in cold trucks. My hands were cold wearing the gloves in the morning because I wasn't moving around yet. I found that these gloves are great and the most useful when your moving around. I can open up combination locks and hold screws and tools without taking these gloves off. They are warm when your moving around and working. They are truly the best work gloves out there for cold weather. I've only used them down to 0F and my hands were almost hot. So don't let how tight they are at first scare you. They end up being the best cold weather work gloves ever if you have to work with small items in your hand. I hated these at first and now love them! I don't think you could find better for working on equipment in the cold!

Very versatile glove. Pretty warm for the dexterity you will still have, which is important to me. Very good for climbing ice in most conditions. If it's super cold, your hands are going to get cold unless you can keep your temps up and blood flowing to your hands. I primarily use these for snowbiking now as a good glove is important for clutch and brake operation. I have heated grips, else these would be too cold. The leather is super supple and the seams are not too bulky. These are my favorite gloves. The only downside is that if you do overheat in them and your hands get sweaty, or even the least bit damp, they stick to your skin and the liner will pull out when you remove your hand, and it SUCKS... trying to get the liner back in and lined up is a huge pain and it's hard to get it back in perfectly so they are comfortable again. I have learned to pull them off the second I start feeling my hands get hot, or know that I have to leave them on until my hands are dry. I've used mine a lot for 2 years and they are really dirty, but show no signs of wearing out any time soon. I will buy another pair for sure when these get worn out. BD rocks!!

Runs small, so buy size up. Warm & good fit, one star deduction b/c inner liner slides out with hand removal, could easily fix by stitching or securing liner to finger area.

Got these for a recent trip to Hyalite. First day of ice climbing realized these are way too thick for that purpose. Ended up using them as my belay/chill gloves and while snowboarding. Will say they are great though. Took plenty of spills on the board and they kept my hands really warm and held up great. Not a bit of wear after a couple of days. Will update later if any problems arise

I decided to indulge in an expensive pair of warm $100 gloves to keep my fingers warm and replace my $40 bulky pair of gloves which always left my fingers red and frozen. I tried my Punisher gloves and it was a punishment. In 30 minutes of being outside in only 35 degrees my fingers were red and cold! I tried them again, this time wearing one of my old (cheap) gloves on one hand, and my expensive Punisher glove on the other hand. The result was the same. I was left with two cold, red hands. Yes, the fit and comfort were nice, but what’s the point of expense gloves if they leave my hands cold? These we’re supposed to be the type of gloves I can take to frigid mountains, with sub zero temperatures, right?! Nope. I’m very disappointed.

I was told by a friend of these gloves, and i must say WOW!!! He had them for over 2 years and still in great shape. iv'e had them a for a few months. i toke them when i went skying in Chile in June and now using them at my next door state CO. its rally fantastic nothing like i ever owned before. Its worth every penny. Perfect fit. Very warm. Snow does not get in even when your rolling :-) .

I bought these for mountain biking in below freezing temps and they are great for that. Actually they tend to be too warm unless it's 25F or lower. I've ridden with them down to about 10F and my hands were not cold. Dexterity is very good for shifting and braking when you consider how warm they are.

Badass gloves. Punisher gloves. Designed for extreme cold weather. Think ice age. I wish I'd known about these years ago.. I also bought Spark gloves for milder times. They're the best gloves I've ever had.
