This is my second go at ordering this item. I ordered the same item but it was shipped from the Amazon Warehouse (rather than from the seller, KS Rescue, directly) and it was obvious the moment I picked up the delivered package and saw the rope that it [the first item] was a "dirty return"/ fraudulent exchange that Amazon missed. The tracking came from San Bernardino, CA and took 8 days to arrive which should have been a red flag since the seller is from another state. Normally that's merely an annoyance but on climbing rope, it's a life ending oversight by Amazon and/or their return inspection process. I contacted the seller (later at night after two very long Amazon CS chat attempts) and got a detailed reply within an hour both working to track down how that previous item got resent as well as assure me the process of a proper return if they recieve it which is destruction (for life saving gear this is reasonable and the reason I was concerned with Amazon's adamant "Return the item in order to get a refund" - from a moral perspective if it happened to me I didn't want the take the chance of this happening to someone else and risk a new climber using it. It's an "80meter climbing rope"... you would die. This second purchase, direct from KS Rescue, was shipped immediately and arrived almost a week before the estimated delivery. It's obviously authentic based on the sheath color, overall weight and has the manufacturers bands encompassing the coil. I haven't personally used it yet but check other sites for reviews you'll see it's a good choice. Just make sure it's direct from the seller and not a return by checking it diligently before using it. Even an authentic return could have been extensively shock loaded or otherwise misused before a return. ... show more

Great fast shipping. This is great rope. 80m and tough. A long single at 80m but a unbeatable double also a 1/2 rope.
