Loved this purchase. Very strong blower with a great little engine. It spools up like a turbine engine and blows well enough to force you to move it from left to right hands to ease the strain (that's good, you want the strongest blower you can afford). It's strong enough to wear you out if you work it as long as I did. I like the low setting as well....that would be good for older people who might be overwhelmed with the continuous push in the opposite direction of the nosel. For older users, it has a lower setting that worked rather well. Using both settings allows you to push debris around then push it several feet away. It will push wet caked layers of leaves from last fall that made our patio garden a mess. A big difference with the 9 amp motor compared to what I was using from the past (old 6 amp tired motor). This turbine jet powered machine was a popular toy for my family who all had to take a shot at riding this bucking bronco (that's how much push you get from it). At the high speed setting, your hand and forearm muscles will get tired if you work it long enough like I did. I thought I was in reasonable shape, but got a little soreness from using it due to it's power): that's a good thing...you want a light blower that is powerful. I cleaned up alot of caked on wet leaves from last fall, real quick. If you're serious about moving debris.....this is all you need to buy. You don't need to spend more for anything more powerful. I was curious about a 40v battery powered blower that my mother was excited to use, but this really cannot be beat. I am quite pleased with this product, and even abused it with a drop from 4 ft...with no damage to the blower. I can enthusiastically recommend this blower. At this price point, I doubt if there is a lighter and more powerful blower out there. Frankly....I wouldn't want a stronger blower or bigger engine. 9 amps is all it takes. I had a real dirty job with caked on layers of mulchy leaves from last fall, and this thing blew the debris easily from every fence and corner. It was a real surprise and godsend. Our patio garden was just caked with dead wet leaves, and this thing cleared out everything all the way down to the top soil. It made my job a whole lot easier. If you got a cheap 6 amp blower from long ago, you'll be quite surprised at how well this spools up with jet turbine like competence.

As a 58 yr old woman, this leaf blower is great. I’ve used it for leaves, dry snow, blowing pollen off the deck, blowing out my dryer hose, and blowing leaves out of the gutters. It has great power without it being so strong that it’s yanking my arm. Lightweight enough that a shoulder strap you see landscapers have on theirs is not necessary. It would be nice, but not necessary. Absolutely perfect for around the home chores.

I own the DeWalt 20V Max Blower with a 100 CFM rating, and I absolutely love it. After using it for years because of its portability and reliability, I wanted a more powerful yet affordable blower to save time on my yard work. My main goal is speed without sacrificing quality or overspending. After browsing for hours, I decided to try Black and Decker, a brand known for its reliability, given its long history. The key benefit of the 450 CFM blower is how much time it saves me. Its power means I no longer need to use a rake after blowing leaves—the tool alone completes the task. Although it requires cord maintenance and eliminates the need to charge batteries, its performance and efficiency outweigh any inconvenience for me, making it my top choice for home use. There are a few drawbacks: unlike my DeWalt's variable-speed switch, the Black and Decker only offers two strong airflow modes, so you lose some control. The extra force can also make it challenging to hold for long periods. However, for me, these downsides are minor compared to the substantial reduction in time spent on each job, which aligns with my goal of efficiency. In summary, the Black and Decker blower delivers impressive power and value. It is a great choice for anyone seeking to save time while staying within budget. Plus: - Les power 9A vs 12 A-1 Amp but better performance. Less weight of 10 gage wire vs 12-14 gage heavier expensive extension cords. - Less weight, less bulk. - Less cost upfront and ongoing. Better work than bigger, higher Amp models. Basic workforce for a large house for fast cleaning or roof, yard, garden, driveway, garage, patios. Minus: -Blows dirt in eyes, nose, ear, mouth. Bad. This leaf blower has more power than both of my other 2 blowers put together. I am well pleased with its performance, power and the price was right. I like the fact that it is electric; I don’t have to worry about batteries running low and waiting for them to recharge. I have used this blower on dry and partially wet (damp) leaves with no significant difference. I would purchase this Black and Decker blower again.

Black & Decker - Making a QUALITY & VALUE comeback!!! My long asphalt driveway and concrete sidewalks get covered thick with pine needles and leaves. pine needles ooze sticcky pitch that requires very strong jet of air to remove some debris. I looked at all of the reviews stating how powerful this blower was for $40 and figured that, for this low price if it's been overrated, I can always use it to clear my never-ending sawdust messes and sidewalk. WOW! This thing REALLY BLOWS!!! If you set it down and turn it on high speed, it will blow itself away from you before you know what happenedI was SO impressed with its power that I almost immediately invested in two 10 gauge 100 ft extension cords (Always useful for whatever when you have an acre or more and family events, etc.). My research shawed that the better gas powered blowers were ALL over $150 (plus, gas can, gas, oil & maintenance !). The cordless electric models are definitely getting better and better BUT,..youget KILLED on the cost of Lithiuim Ion Rechargable Batteries and they keep raising the required voltage/battery capacity 20V, the 40V and now 80V and $$$ just for batteries. I figured it would be difficult to accidentally cut a 10-gauge cord with a BLOWER! With the 2 100 ft heavy duty extension cords + my 2 existing fifty footers I can cover everything I need to clear NO fighting fouled sparkplugs, gummed up carburetors, etc No remembering to buy gas, oil, or fuel stabilizer for winter. OK, YES, it does take a few mins. to deploy the extension cord, BUT, once that is done, I flip the switch and get 'er DONE. In my case its a bonus to have a couple of heavy duty extension cords always available! The ONLY downside in my case is winding up the last 50 ft or cord around my hand and elbow makes my right arm a little tired(maybe I'll just spend another $20 and buy a heavy duty cord reel and give my 68-yr-old shoulder a rest! BOTTOM LINE: If you don't mind 10 minutes of cord management (vs. ?? mins. of mixing gas/oil , ## of attempted pull starts, running for the recharger because the battery ran down before you were finished, just GO for this B & D blower. You will NOT regret it!
